Deze spectaculaire tour van een halve dag neemt je mee op een culturele reis door 3 van de belangrijkste boeddhistische tempels van Bangkok. Bezoek Wat Saket, Wat Pho en Wat Arun.

Uiteindelijk komen we aan bij Wat Pho, een van de mooiste tempels in Bangkok, waar je de grootste liggende Boeddha van Thailand zult zien.
Als u wilt, kunt u na het bezoek aan Wat Pho vrij de Wat Arun bereiken, die zich op korte afstand bevindt, aan de andere kant van de Choa Phraya-rivier.
De Chao Phraya-rivier ligt heel dicht bij de Wat Pho, zodat je vrijuit kunt beslissen om het te zien of je bezoeken per boot voort te zetten.
Wat Traimit in Bangkok staat bekend om het huisvesten van een 5,5 ton wegend standbeeld van een zittende Boeddha. Het gouden beeld dateert uit de 13e eeuw en is bijna 5 meter hoog. Deze sierlijke tempel ligt in Chinatown Bangkok, op ongeveer 450 meter hoogte Hoogtepunten bij Wat Traimit Het massief gouden Boeddhabeeld in Sukhothai-stijl was oorspronkelijk bedekt met gips, maar de originele façade werd onthuld nadat verhuizers het per ongeluk hadden laten vallen. Stukken van het gips worden nog steeds tentoongesteld in de tempel. Wat Traimit heeft een museum op de 3e verdieping, waar je meer te weten komt over de geschiedenis van de Gouden Boeddha. Een videopresentatie geeft een korte achtergrondinformatie over Boeddhabeelden, gevolgd door het volledige verhaal van het beeldhouwwerk in de tempel. Exposities behandelen ook de historische achtergrond van hoe het tot stand kwam in Wat Traimit. Op de 2e verdieping zijn 3D-presentaties te zien die de geschiedenis van de Chinese handelaren in Bangkok beschrijven

Even after repeated inquiries, we haven't received the pick-up time and the pick-up location. we were therefore unable to take part in the tour. nevertheless the refund was refused.
do this one day before doing Royal Palace - least that was what I did and it helped having this one first - the temples move fast and that is great - there is only so much time to spend there - guide gives you the information you need
This is one of the most magnificent and majestic images of the Buddha in south east asia. The temple's architecture is simply astonishing and presents a stellar enshrined place for the Buddha. I highly recommend enthusiastic tourists to visit this awesome temple.

Unfortunately, multiple pick-up time requests were only answered the night before. All previous messages by mail, via Tripadvisor or Whatsapp were ignored. The pick-up time on the day itself was then postponed 3 more times - so you could have slept in... The tour itself was fine.
<p>The guy that was very experienced and knowledgeable. He knew the best spots from which to take photographs. He knew the best routes to take to maximise and appreciation of the unique culture that existed in ancient Khymer culture . I fully recommend it to anyone who is interested in soaking up Culture of those times.</p>
<p>I will start with the meeting point in Bangkok, Hotel Aetas Lumpini, 1030 Thanon Rama IV... There was nothing around it but a lot of locals and traffic....Wish there had been a different place, maybe closer to china town so you could walk around when there is some spare time to kill. Tourstops way too short but worth to see all 3 temples, just amazing! I was not interested in that market/ jewelery store.....again like a sales session. Would have gone rather to china touwn or other markets to pick up some souvenirs. Tourguide was excellent and I thank her for being so wonderful and explaining everything on this tour! Thanks for taking such good care of us!!!</p>
