Als je een geweldige kennismaking met Lissabon wilt hebben, is dit de tour voor jou. We beginnen de tour met een bezoek aan Alfama, de oudste wijk van Lissabon. Brilliant understanding of the history of Lisbon
We met our guide Walter under the arch in the Praca Commercial. We were a little bit early, but Walter was already there waiting for us. His depth of knowledge and enthusiasm was contagious from the start as he took us from the arrival of Phonesian traders taking refuge from Atlantic storms 4000 years ago to the terrible earthquake of 1755. The tour took us into the social, cultural and architectural changes that happened over the course of those events and since. He also found us a couple of little culinary treats along the way that we would never have found on our own. We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent guide to start our time in Lisbon
Kleiber was an outstanding guide, and we highly recommend him and Hi Lisbon Walking Tours! We spent three wonderful hours exploring Lisbon with him and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the city’s fascinating history and its connections to Portugal’s former territories. Great informative and entertaining tour with Chiara
We have visited Lisbon several times over the last 35 years and this is the first time we booked a tour. It was well worth it. One misses out a lot by wandering around a city, which used to be our previous preferred option. Chiara was very knowledgeable and an excellent and entertaining raconteur. She seemed to enjoy imparting her knowledge. The tour was nicely structured from early days to more recent times. The pace was just perfect. Thank you.

Splendid walking tour with Shira
Spent a very enjoyable 3 hours with Shira learning about Lisbon this morning. We really enjoyed her spin on Lisbon’s history expertly co-ordinated with the sights. Starting at 9am helped avoid the crowds and heat of the day.
