Als je niet in de typische toeristenvallen van La Paz wilt trappen, doe dan mee! We beginnen met een driegangenmenu in het beste restaurant van de stad om elkaar te ontmoeten. Vanaf daar gaan we naar El Alto om het kabelbaansysteem te ervaren en te genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht over de stad, gevolgd door het verkennen van de historische binnenstad, het bezoeken van bezienswaardigheden zoals de heksenmarkt, de Jaén-straat en het centrale plein. Je zult ook de pittoreske koloniale en republikeinse architectuur verkennen en er doorheen slenteren. Tijdens de tour deel ik verhalen en inzichten in de rijke geschiedenis en cultuur van La Paz, en heb je de mogelijkheid om wat van de koffie op grote hoogte van de stad te proeven in mijn favoriete coffeeshop. Aan het einde van de tour heb je een beter begrip gekregen van La Paz en zijn mensen, en heb je enkele van de meest iconische bezienswaardigheden en geluiden van de stad ervaren met een adembenemend uitzicht op Illimani, onze bergbeschermer. We beginnen onze ervaring in het beste restaurant van de stad, met een traditioneel driegangenmenu met biologische en verse lokale ingrediënten. Ik zal je alles uitleggen over onze gastronomie en we zullen elkaar ontmoeten :)
We lopen over de mystieke en unieke heksenmarkt, ik zal onze tradities en cultuur rond Pachamama uitleggen. We zien de architectuur van het cocamuseum en steken de meest charmante toeristische straat over om wat foto's te maken.
We nemen de paarse lijn van de kabelbaan rechtstreeks naar El Alto voor het beste uitzicht op La Paz en de altiplanische stad El Alto. Ik zal de sociale en culturele dynamiek van beide steden tijdens de rit uitleggen.
We lopen door deze koloniale straat en ik zal je alles uitleggen over ons Spaanse erfgoed, het is ook een belangrijke plek om foto's te maken en de geschiedenis van La Paz te begrijpen
Ons hoofdplein, ik zal je alle architectuur, politieke situatie, sociale kwesties en cultureel gedrag uitleggen om deze stad beter te begrijpen
Tijd voor een gastronomische koffie om onze ervaring voort te zetten, La Paz is de beste producent van koffie op grote hoogte met een grote verscheidenheid aan gastronomische soorten, ik weet zeker dat je ervan zult genieten als je van koffie houdt. Maar als je dat niet bent, is er een grote selectie van thee of andere infusies.
De enorme immensiteit van de kathedraal met zijn hoge koepel, kolossale zuilen, dikke stenen muren en hoge plafonds is overweldigend. Binnen is de belangrijkste attractie de overvloed aan glas-in-loodwerk.
Dit koloniale gebouw is gebouwd in 1775 van roze zandsteen en is in zijn oorspronkelijke grandeur hersteld in een gemengde barok- en Andes-barokstijl.
We eindigen onze ervaring met een adembenemend uitzicht op onze beschermberg, "Tata Illimani".

Brissia under sells her tour massively! The lunch she includes is a gourmet treat, the most beautifully prepared meals kept coming. We opted for the wine pairing and Brissia knew Alex the co-owner and we got the most awesome wine experience and discussion.....with that little "extra" in the pour! Granted we had fantastic autumn weather but we were all over the city, asking questions, discussing opinions, learning and not just ambling along. Our day ended with a coffee, oh no, not just ANY Bolivian coffee, the most beautiful shop in the city! As the rain started falling our day ended too soon and we parted ways in front of the main cathedral in the city square. What a day, long to be remembered, thank you so much Brissia PS. Did I mention we had time to look through a couple of Dali paintings as well? Fantastic day....

Brissia was very knowledgeable and patient with us. She took us for a fabulous meal, a tour around the city, rides in the cable cars and the witches market. She finished it off at a truly amazing coffee store! Highly recommend!!
Brissia is a great guide. Her tour is unusual for a city tour and frankly much better than any other city tour I have ever been on. I feel like I really know a lot about La Paz now. I enthusiastically recommend this tour.
This tour was great. It was very different from most city tours. It starts in an excellent restaurant then moves on to the witches’ market and views the city from the cable cars. The whole experience was great and so was Brissia the guide. She obviously loves La Paz and her enthusiasm makes the tour even better.
Excellent tour of La Paz. Loved the use of the gondola system to get great views from above and learn about different neighborhoods. Perfect ending at the coffee shop.
Words cannot express my gratitude for this magnificent human being. My biggest thank you to Brissia for creating a personalised gluten free experience for me. The steak we ate today will forever make me drool haha. Brissia was kind, insightful and a great conversationalist who spoke English well. I would highly recommend Brissia’s tour to anyone who wants to experience La Paz from a different eye and who loves gourmet food and mouthwatering local coffee.
I had the loveliest day with Brissia today. So nice to meet for lunch at Popular Covina to start off with a discussion about Bolivia & La Paz. The food was top notch gourmet showcasing the new foodie scene. We then saw the local sights and made a big circle on the teleferico to literally see the whole city. We walked through the main square stopping at a church to see beautifully dressed choletas at a baptism and the national art museum. Then walked through local markets. Through Brissia, I feel like I really got to know La Paz and its cultures. The tour was tailored to my interests. She is extremely knowledgeable, speaks English very well and is delightful to be with.
