Dagtocht naar de Taj Mahal, Agra met Mathura en Vrindavan vanuit Delhi

Verken drie belangrijke bestemmingen in een privétour van een hele dag inclusief Vrindavan, een belangrijke hindoeïstische bedevaartplaats die dateert uit de jaren 1500, Mathura, de geboorteplaats van Krishna, en de iconische Taj Majal. Hotel- of luchthaven ophalen en afzetten, gids, vervoer, entreegelden en lunch inbegrepen.

Begin vroeg met het ophalen van 06:30 vanaf uw hotel in Delhi of de luchthaven, en reis vervolgens in een privévoertuig met airconditioning gedurende 3 uur naar de stad Agra.
Bij aankomst in Agra neemt je gids je mee naar de Taj Mahal, een UNESCO-werelderfgoed dat werd gebouwd voor de 17e-eeuwse Mughal-keizer om de zonsopgang te zien.
Vervolgens bezoeken we Agra Fort (een Unesco Werelderfgoed) (op eigen kosten) Gebouwd door keizer Akbar in 1565 A.D. Dit enorme fort is gemaakt van rode zandsteen. Het doolhof van de binnenplaatsen, moskeeën en privékamers van het fort weerspiegelen het verhaal van het Mughal-rijk.
Eenjoy het winkelen in Agra staat bekend om zijn fantastische handwerk, gemaakt van marmer en softstone inlegwerk. De Mughals waren grote beschermheren van kunst en ambachten. Keizerin Nur Jahan was persoonlijk geïnteresseerd en was zelf een volleerd kunstenaar in het borduurwerk van zari. De belangrijkste handwerkproducten van Agra naast inlegwerk zijn: lederwaren, koperwaren, tapijten, sieraden en borduurwerk.
Lunchpauze, lunch wordt verzorgd in een van de beste lokale AC-restaurants (op eigen kosten)
Na de lunch 1:30 uur Ga verder naar Mathura, de geboorteplaats van Krishna en een van de zeven heilige steden van het hindoeïsme. Bekijk de Shri Krishna Janambhoomi-tempel en ervaar de live kirtan in de kirtan-kamer.
Na Mathura bezoeken we Prem Mandir, een groot spiritueel complex op een landgoed van 54 hectare aan de rand van Vrindavan. Zie de tempel, die 80 panelen bevat die het leven van Krishna weergeven, en volg dan een breed pad dat je op een 12 meter lange omweg neemt.
'S Avonds bezoekt u de Shri Bankey Bihari-tempel, de beroemdste Krishna-tempel, en keert u terug naar uw voertuig voor de retourrit van twee uur naar Delhi, waar uw reis eindigt met de aflevering van het hotel.

This was an amazing day. My guide, Arun Rajput, and I visited two of the holy cities and learned a lot about Hinduism while experiencing the awe and joy of numerous pilgrims. The cities represent both where Krishna was born and where he lived. Paintings, carvings and life sized dioramas depicting scenes from the life of Krishna not only dotted the temples but were also throughout the towns. Parts of the tour involved a boat trip on the Yamuna river as well as tuk-tuk and bicycle rickshaw rides through the “real” part of the city. Topping off the day was an excellent buffet lunch and a visit to a unique craft factory producing local embroidery. Arun was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide while our driver, Manoj, was safe and always waiting for us when we were ready for the car.

Anil naagra ji was our driver for the day trip from delhi- Mathura vrindaVan- Taj. He was good driving safe and punctual. He stopped the car at hygienic food points considering we (esp our kids) travelled from US . He was polite and informative. He helped with providing details about the places,road we drove by. We visited Taj Mahal with Praveen ( Rocky) as tour guide. He was very informative and helpful. We enjoyed our time at Taj with lots of details told by him. We drove with Anil ji from Delhi to Agra and Mathura. He was a careful driver and knew all the places well. He stoped at very nice -decent places for food after knowing we flew from USA and kids can get sick by unhygienic food. Thanks to both of them.

We had a wonderful tour of the Taj Mahal. Our guide, Praveen (aka Rocky) was simply awesome. He made the experience extremely seamless from the ticketing, exploring the various structures, post exit with buying souvenirs. Rocky was very knowledgeable about the history and was patient in answering all our questions. I highly recommend going with him if you are visiting Agra.

Rocky was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. We did a tour of the Taj Mahal and he talked through every detail of the Taj Mahal. I would highly recommend Rocky for any tour.

We took this package to cover Mathura, Vrindavan and Tajmahal. It was worth money we spent on a tour package. We enjoyed all three places. Arun is a nice guy, very friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. Mr Sonu was the driver, came on time, driven safe. Complementary lunch was great. We check with him again if we come.
