Dagtrip naar de Golden Circle en Blue Lagoon vanuit Reykjavik

Dit is een ideale tour voor degenen die de twee meest bezochte plaatsen in IJsland in één dag willen zien. De Gouden cirkel genoemd door de Gouden waterval of Gulfoss. Op dezelfde route bezoeken we Thingvellir nationaal park dat midden in de Euro-Aziatische en Amerikaanse tektonische plaat ligt. Geniet van een wandeling tussen beide borden naar de vallei waar het oudste democratische parlement is gevestigd. We stoppen bij Geyser warmwaterbron en genieten van een van IJslands meest bezochte toeristische attractie, geiser Strokkur die elke 6 - 8 minuten ontploft. Volgende stop is plaats zoals Kerið krater, Hveragerði stad. Vanaf hier gaan we naar het schiereiland Reykjanes en vangen we uiteindelijk de Blauwe lagune (entree niet inbegrepen). Deze tour is bijna altijd privé. Zelfs als we twee of meer boekingen voor dezelfde dag hebben, zal de tour nog steeds zeer privé zijn, zodat klanten genoeg tijd hebben om wonderen van de IJslandse natuur te onderzoeken. Plaats waar tektonische platen elkaar ontmoeten in het nationale park. Ook is Þingvellir een historische plek voor de IJslandse natie met het oudste democratische park op de planeet. Þingvellir wordt beschermd door de UNESCO.

Gullfoss is een waterval, een wonder van de natuur. Tegelijk is het op onze tour de meest oostelijke plaats vanuit Reykjavik die we bezoeken.
De lange tijd verlaten geweeste krater Kerið is een toeristische attractie geworden.
Toegang wordt gekocht door reiziger of touroperator. Niet opgenomen op Viator, of andere commerciële websites om verschillende redenen. Let op. Reizigers hebben ook de mogelijkheid om te zwemmen in Secred lagune. Neem contact op na boeking, zodat we samen de beste oplossing voor elk en een kunnen vinden.

We had a great tour with Andres. He had many suggestions and was very flexible. He picked us up on time at our hotel. He was very knowledgeable and interesting as well. He gave us a good view of Icelandic history as well as spectacular views along the Golden Circle.

We were picked up as scheduled from our cruise ship. The Golden Circle trip was planned for us. Andres was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable about the area, both the geography and the history. He was entertaining and helpful. He filled our day with fun facts and magnificent sights. When we expressed an interest in altering the plans to include downtown Reykjavík he was happy to oblige and had more stories to tell about that area. We had a full day and were very satisfied when Andres dropped us at the airport!

The golden circle trip with Andres was excellent. He cared about his clients. He knew a lot of Iceland’s history, geology and culture which he shared with us throughout the trip. He was not in a hurry to complete the trip quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

Our first taste of Iceland was along the Golden Circle with Andres as our guide. Andres was terrific, he highlighted the attractions best suited for our interests and allowed us time to hike / explore as we went. He was flexible, knowledgable and made the 10+ hours we spent with him a pleasure. Five stars all around!

Andres made the Golden Circle tour a great experience for us. He was on time, his SUV was clean and comfortable, he was very courteous and patient. He talked about the history and significance of each site we visited and gave us plenty of time to enjoy ourselves at our own pace. Prior to the trip he communicated via Viator messaging but eventually we connected thru WhatsApp. That helped a ton because we could communicate real time and set expectations as needed. This was supposed to be an all day tour but I think he went above and beyond because we took our time at several sites and yet he never rushed us. Overall a great experience

This was a full day driving the Golden Circle. Our guide Andres was amazing. I can’t say enough about his experience and knowledge. He was flexible with stops and always asked our input while providing options. We made a short detour to a working dairy farm for some fresh ice cream which was amazing. Having a great guide on a private tour made all the difference.

Great tour. Andres is a little bit opinionated, but he also knows what he's talking about. We saw some spectacular scenery, and at the end of the day, he took us on a neat tour of downtown Reykjavik
