Als iedereen is opgehaald bij hotels in Pula en Medulin, keert u terug in de tijd naar waar het schiereiland Istrië van Kroatië wat meer op zijn buur Italië lijkt. In 8 uur bezoekt u het heuveldorp Bale, verkent u Rovinj, ook wel "klein Venetië" genoemd, geniet u van een Istrische lunch in Grizini en dompelt u uzelf onder in meer dan 2000 jaar aan geschiedenis in Poreč. De tour is inclusief een professionele gids, ophalen en afzetten bij geselecteerde hotels in Pula en Medulin en Istrische lunch.

Rovinj is net een sprookjesdorp, propvol met kleine gele en paarse huizen aan elkaar verbonden via geplaveide straatjes en pleinen. Dit kleine juweeltje heeft het allemaal: de geschiedenis, de cultuur, de keuken, u zult het geweldig vinden!
Onze laatste stop is de stad Poreč, een van de beroemdste vakantiebestemmingen in Istrië. Bekend om de lange boulevard, mooie stranden, moderne restaurants en de vele historische bezienswaardigheden, zal Poreč u met gemak verrukken. Het hoogtepunt van de stad is de 6e-eeuwse Eufrasiusbasiliek, bekend om de prachtige mozaïeken op gouden achtergronden.

Mauro was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and made our trip. The trip was really enjoyable and a good mix of guided tour and free time. The Istrian lunch was lovely and adapted for me as coeliac. Can't recommend this trip enough.

We really enjoyed this day trip, although it was a long day (as we were the first pick up in Pula) it went very smoothly and a lovely local lunch was provided half way through the day. Visiting the towns of Rovinj and Porec was a real highlight as both towns are very pretty and our guide was able to offer lots of information which we found very informative. Overall a very good day trip!
All day trip with additional stop off to small Roman village Bale with cute church and traditional stone buildings.

Really enjoyable trip to see another part of Istria, from the tourist resorts of Porec and Rovinj, to the lesser know Bale. Mauro was an excellent guide, approachable and full of regional knowledge.
We enjoyed the trip overall, the guide and driver were excellent. Given that the title of the trip mentions two main cities we felt that the trip to Bale could have been skipped. It is mentioned on the itinerary and is a lovely spot. However it takes around 45 minutes off the day, which we felt would have been better to allow more free time in Porec. We ended up dashing around the Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 20 minutes which was a real shame. The lunch was lovely and a real taste of the region. Overall a great day and glad we went.
Great guide but why we had to travel to the middle of nowhere for a meal that was awful is beyond me. I’d rather have bought my own meal in Rovinj or Porec and had more time there
