Dagtocht naar Burana Tower en Konorchek Canyons

Als u op zoek bent naar een snelle dagtrip vanuit Bishkek, maar niet te afgelegen wilt, dan is dit de beste keuze. Tijdens deze privétour van een hele dag laat de gids je kennismaken met de geschiedenis van de Burana-toren uit het Silk Road-tijdperk, met een wandeling naar de prachtige paden van Konorchek Canyon.

'S Ochtends wordt u opgehaald bij een hotel om aan uw spannende tour te beginnen. We gaan richting de Burana-toren naar het kleine stadje Tokmok (80 km van Bishkek). U rijdt langs de grens met Kazachstan en bij helder weer ziet u het prachtige landschap van het Tien Shan gebergte. Tokmak was de op een na grootste industriële stad in Kirgizië tijdens de Sovjettijd en je kunt enkele van de Sovjetmonumenten zien terwijl je door de stad rijdt. Vervolgens passeer je verschillende kleine maar pittoreske dorpjes en kun je het leven van de lokale bevolking buiten de hoofdstad zien.
Je gids zal je de mausolea en andere gebouwen laten zien die door archeologen zijn ontdekt tijdens opgravingen, je krijgt de kans om naar de top van de oude toren te klimmen, waar je een prachtig uitzicht hebt op de Chui-vallei en de Tien-Shan-bergen. Bezoek het kleine museum, dat verschillende archeologische artefacten presenteert, evenals een openluchtmuseum met oude grafstenen, rotstekeningen en andere interessante historische voorwerpen die op het grondgebied van ons land zijn gevonden.
De wandeling begint in Boom Gorge bij de Rode Brug, die zich over de Chu-rivier uitstrekt. Je wandeling van 1 uur (enkele reis) slingert door een doolhof van rotsen en rode zandstenen zuilen. Het pad biedt voldoende fotomomenten en heeft veel leuke wendingen. Volg een opgedroogde rivier door de nauwe kloof tot je een klein plateau bereikt, vanwaar je een weids uitzicht hebt op de Eolische kastelen van rode aarde. Het hoogtepunt van de wandeling is het panoramische uitzicht waar je lagen canyons vanuit het noorden en groene weiden en bergen vanuit het zuiden kunt observeren. Geniet van een picknicklunch en een moment van rust, terwijl je de opvallende schoonheid van de kliffen bewondert, voordat je aan de terugtocht begint.
Keer terug naar Bisjkek. Je afzetten bij het hotel is het einde van onze prachtige tour. Heb een geweldige avond!

My guide Eldar was on time, communicated the itinerary clearly and knowledgeable about the things we saw and did. The trek to the Canyon was a great highlight, not to be missed.
This was my second trip with Datkatravel. The guide is Nurbek. I was on a private tour. Everything is organized at a very high level. We were in the Chu Valley, stopped by Burana, then had an amazingly good lunch. Nurbek is a very good guide, storyteller and interlocutor. Recommend Datkatravel👍❤️ to all
A friendly and wonderful guide, and the view! The guide gave us a chance to experience Kyrgyz culture, giving us Kyrgyz stamps and a traditional kurt. The view was also an hour-long hike, with unimaginable views and a truly amazing experience! They also took care of the time to catch the flight home, which helped!
Burana Tower was very cool, and the canyon hike was beautiful. Be careful in hot weather, but the guide was knowledgeable on the area and shared a lot of Kyrgyzstan history as well. Highly recommended.
I was able to taste the great nature of Kyrgyzstan! It was such a beautiful view! The hike, which lasted about an hour, was a good one. The driver was very kind and comfortable. They also gave me traditional sweets, kurts and nuts, and they were very caring. I hope to join another tour next time!
My tour to Konorchek Canyon and Burana Tower was the highlight of my trip! I loved that it was a small group and my guide, Faruk, made the whole day so much fun. He shared lots of interesting facts about the places we visited and answered all our questions about the country. The food was great, the views were incredible, and the whole experience felt more like a road trip with a friend. Highly recommend!
This full-day excursion was truly memorable. The canyon hike was not too difficult, and the stunning view at the end made every step completely worthwhile. Our lunch stop was an enjoyable experience in itself. Above all, our guide, Andrey, was top-notch. His knowledge led to a very insightful and exhilarating conversation about the local culture and the country’s evolution post-Soviet Union. Highly recommend!
We had a great day at Konorchek Canyons. It was very quiet, not many tourists around and the views were magnificent. The trip is about hiking and although the trail is not very demanding, I wouldn't recommend it to people with any mobility/walking limitations. I appreciate very good communication with the tour organizer.

This tour was great from start to finish! The visit to Burana Tower was really interesting — our guide Andrei shared some stories about its history and the Silk Road. Then we went for an adventurous hike in the Konorchek Canyon, which were absolutely beautiful. Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had a great time. Everything went smoothly, and the whole day felt relaxed and well organized. Definitely recommend this trip with Datka travel if you’re in Bishkek!
