Tot aan het meest zuidwestelijke punt van het eiland, op een van de meest spectaculaire en onverwachte locaties van het eiland, zullen we de dag doorbrengen. Elafonisi is een plaats van uitzonderlijke natuurlijke schoonheid, iets tussen een eiland en een schiereiland, omdat je door de zee moet lopen om er te komen. Eens bezet door piraten, is het tegenwoordig een zeer populaire bestemming voor dagjesmensen die daar naar de verre lagune overstromen terwijl ze een mediterrane vakantie hebben. Elafonisi is een paradijs op aarde – een hemel van ongeëvenaarde schoonheid. Het is bedekt met zandduinen, lage bomen, struiken, zandlelies en jeneverbessen. U kunt er te voet vanaf het strand komen door ondiepe aquamarijn en turquoise wateren te passeren. Het witte en roze zand gemaakt van duizenden gebroken zeeschelpen, het heldere blauwgroene water, de kleine baaien en de afgelegen kleine strandjes herinneren de reizigers aan een verloren paradijs. Neem een duik in het warme tropische water en ontspan onder de hete zomerzon!

Breng een ontspannende dag door op het kleine eiland Elafonisi en geniet van de zon op een paradijselijk strand op Kreta. Ga terug naar de natuur tijdens een dagtrip vanuit Rethymno. Nadat je opgehaald bent met de bus, reis je naar de zuidwestelijke hoek van Kreta om een ontspannende dag door te brengen op de roze zandstranden op het kleine eiland Elafonisi. Bij aankomst in Elafonisi krijgt u minimaal 4 uur de tijd om te ontspannen en te zwemmen in het kristalheldere water. Luier in de zon of maak een wandeling langs het roze zandstrand. Profiteer van strandkiosken waar u voedsel en water kunt kopen om te hydrateren en nieuwe energie op te doen. Elafonisi ligt net buiten de kust van het hoofdeiland en kan worden bereikt door door het water te lopen. Zowel het strand als het eiland zijn beschermde natuurgebieden van zeldzame schoonheid. Vertrek met de bus om ongeveer 16:00 uur en keer terug naar Rethymno voor een geschatte aankomsttijd en het hotel wordt rond 18:30 uur afgezet.
Geniet van het weelderige groene landschap op weg naar het eiland terwijl je door de indrukwekkende Topolia-kloof reist en vele oude en zeer typische dorpjes passeert. Stop voor een kopje koffie en ontbijt in het dorp Elos, bekend om zijn kastanjebomen.

Je ontvangt specifieke ophaalinformatie in een aparte e-mail van de lokale partner (controleer je spammap). Alle pick-ups van de oude binnenstad van Rethymno zijn vanaf de bushalte van de kerk van vier martelaren (4 martelarenkerk).

Tour was really a bus trip with very little information given on the way. The meal stops were very expensive but we were encouraged to buy from them because they were supposedly cheaper than at the beach itself. This was simply not true and disappointing to be so mislead. The walk from the bus to the beach was quite long and would be challenging for some, I feel this should be clearly explained in the tour description. Also people should be informed that the beach itself may or may not be pink on the day you visit. A lovely drive and pretty beach however and it was nice to have the comfort of an airconditioned bus in the hot weather.

The scenery on the drive was amazing and the driver and guide were friendly, polite and informative. The prices for the 2 places we stopped for breakfast and lunch were expensive, cheaper food and drinks were at the beach. This was not what the guide told us, and being so mislead was very disappointing.

Amazing trip to a lovely beach. We were picked up o time to start the 2 hour trip to the beach The guide was great telling us all about the area On the way we stopped smat a taverna set in a gorge lovely scenery. When we arrived at the beach we were told where to go and where the pick up was. This beach was beautiful with pink sand in places, the water was shallow and great the children.On the way back we stopped to look at a cave although I was in the taverna having fresh orange juice. I would recommend this trip

Everything was perfect, the tour guide, the friendliness of guide and the bus driver. Highly recommend it for the visitors of Creta. Only one important tip to remember, confirm the pickup point with the tour operator else you will miss the bus, hence the trip!

I took my 7y/o daughter. Everything was on time. Our guide spoke German, English, and French. We stopped to eat on the way there and back. The beach was absolutely stunning. You will have to walk from the bus down to the beach for about 10 minutes. Bring appropriate shoes for it, it is rocky. We enjoyed our day so much, less stress than driving myself. Worth

I took this tour with my 7y/o daughter. Everything was on time. Our guide was awesome, kind, and so helpful. He spoke English, German, and French. We stopped for snacks on the way and spent 4 hours at the beach. It was gorgeous. You get there right before it starts to get packed, so you can get a spot. We had a great day. Stopped for food on the way home and then we were dropped off. If your hotel is not listed, they will contact you to set up the nearest pickup. Great price for a great experience! We loved it!

WE whent on the bus at 7. The guide was very interesting. WE arrived at Elafonissi around 10. Not much Shade on thé beach if you walk away from thé crowed, but very nice spots. WE came back at 5:30....Very nice day!!
