Deze privédagtour biedt u comfort en flexibiliteit met een ophaalservice bij elk hotel in Amman om 7.00 uur. De rit naar Petra duurt ongeveer 3 uur. De rotsstad die je ontdekt met je persoonlijke, deskundige lokale gids. Daarna heb je tijd om op eigen gelegenheid in Petra te wandelen. Deze tour eindigt met een rit terug naar je hotel.

07:00 uur ophalen hotellobby of residentie in Amman. De rondleiding is elke dag beschikbaar. Onze Engels sprekende chauffeur brengt je langs de Desert Highway naar Petra. Afhankelijk van het verkeer duurt de transfer minimaal 2,5 uur.
Rond 09:30 uur wordt u gekoppeld aan uw privégids van het bezoekerscentrum Petra en begint u de verbazingwekkende rotsstad te bezoeken. Deze fascinerende oude Nabateese hoofdstad domineerde de Arabische handelsroutes en is een must see in het Midden-Oosten. Je passeert de Siq, een smalle kloof waar je de eerste close-ups krijgt van de kleurrijke zandsteen, eindigend bij de prachtige Schatkamer. Loop langs de Straat van Gevels naar de Koninklijke Graven, het Theater en Qasr Al Bint. Hier neemt de gids afscheid van u. Vrije tijd voor uzelf, waarna u dezelfde weg terugloopt naar de toegangspoort. De gemiddelde tijd die klanten in Petra doorbrengen is 5 uur, maar u bent zeker vrij om de duur van uw verblijf in te korten of te verlengen. Restaurants vind je binnen en rond de hoofdingang van het Archeologisch Park van Petra.
14.30 uur ontmoet je chauffeur en bereid je voor op je retourtransfer naar Amman.
17:00 uur afzetten bij uw Amman-hotel of Amman-residentie.

We booked a airport pick up at Amman to Petra. We were met at the airport by the very cheerful Mustafa who drove us to Petra that night. Mustafa gave us information on Jordan and Petra itself throughout the journey. We did Petra on our own and Mustafa collected us at our hotel the following evening right on time. The vehicle was clean and water was provided. Would book again and appreciate Mustafa's kindness, safe driving and helpful advice.
We had an amazing 4 days in Jordan doing many tours with Freddy and Mohammad. Everything we saw and experienced was beyond fascinating and they took us and accommodated us in the best way and went above and beyond. The knowledge and connections they have as well as amazing hospitality and driving we didn’t worry about a thing. Everything was dialed in and very clear. They were so friendly and fun. They have a deep knowledge of the history, area, and ecosystem it was so informative. It was so worth it!!!
Tayseer was our driver and was an excellent driving companion. The trip was roughly 3 1/2 hours but get shorter as he described each area with great detail. Once in Petra we had another guide who took us on a vigorous walk into the main section of the mountain passage into the Petra dwellings. Stunning walk, but be prepared with good walking shoes that are comfortable on loose rock. We finished our walk of Petra and Tayseer picked us up with warm bread in hand. Great way to finish …bread, cool water, and a nice nap.
Tayseer was our driver and was exceptional! He told stories of the region during our 3 hour drive from Amman and was just a super friendly and knowledgeable driver. He even had warm bread waiting for our departure. We had a great guide inside of Petra who was a master at taking iPhone pics. Overall a great tour with great people.
We spent a wonderful day in Petra and in the desert and our amazing driver and guide Mohammad Masoud took a lot of care of us and drove us safely around the most stunning places of Jordan!

Petra Night Tours provided a fantastic service. My driver Oqbah was a personable & knowledgeable man, and as the day tour from Amman required around 5 hours (round trip) sitting in a (nice and modern) vehicle, his engaging conversation enabled the time to pass quickly.
