We halen je op bij je hotellobby of residentie in Amman, en onze vriendelijke Engels sprekende chauffeur zal er zijn om je over de schilderachtige Desert Highway naar Petra te begeleiden. De tour rijdt elke dag, en afhankelijk van het verkeer duurt de reis meestal ongeveer 2,5 uur, inclusief een ontspannen stop. We kijken ernaar uit om uw reis soepel en plezierig te maken!
Wanneer u aankomt bij het bezoekerscentrum, zal de behulpzame chauffeur er zijn om u te helpen met het kopen van uw tickets. Als je de optie met een lokale Gids hebt gekozen, zal je vriendelijke lokale Gids je vergezellen op de site om je ervaring nog leuker te maken.
Begin met je lokale Gids om de geweldige rotsstad Petra te bezoeken. Deze fascinerende oude Nabateese hoofdstad heerste ooit over de Arabische handelsroutes en is een must-see in het Midden-Oosten. Je passeert de Siq, een smalle canyon waar je je eerste close-ups krijgt van het kleurrijke zandsteen, eindigend bij de prachtige Schatkamer. Wandel langs de Straat der Gevels om de Koninklijke Tombes, het Theater en Qasr Al Bint te zien. Geniet in je eentje van wat vrije tijd en loop dan op dezelfde manier terug naar de toegangspoort. De meeste bezoekers verblijven ongeveer 5 uur in Petra, maar je bent vrij om je bezoek in te korten of te verlengen. Restaurants zijn beschikbaar binnen en rond de hoofdpoort van Petra Archeologisch Park. Na 2 uur begeleidt uw Gids u naar het verzamelpunt voor de terugreis naar Amman, of u kunt ervoor kiezen om de site meer te verkennen voordat u met uw chauffeur teruggaat.

Great day trip with just enough to do without being exhausted. Both the driver Ibrahim and local guide at Petra Sam were great company. The local insights and personal knowledge added alot to the trip. Would highly recommend the horse ride at Petra along the canyon and having a drink at the Cave Bar on the way out. It is a very long day so I recommend choosing the earlier departure option. Additionally, both San and Ibrahim spoke great English, so ask for them in the future if you plan on asking a lot of questions.

I did the tour as transport from Amman to Petra without needing a tour in Petra. Shadi, the driver, was great. He arrived early with a comfortable car and is a good, safe driver who also points out many interesting things along the way. We even took a little detour so he could show me a couple lookout-type locations with great views. He is very personable and great to talk with on various topics. He has great knowledge about all parts of Jordan since he used to be a full time tour guide. I highly recommend Shadi for all your Jordan transportation needs. I’m also using his services for my return trip to Amman.

This experience was great! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Petra. Our driver, Ibrahim, was also pretty knowledgeable about the city of Petra. He got us from our hotel and back safely and in no time! He allowed plenty of opportunities for bathroom stops and just overall taking care of us. Ibrahim was awesome!

The drive from the hotel in Amman was long, but pleasant. It allowed us to see the vast countryside, the mining industry, the farming, and the desert. Since it was Ramadan, traffic was light and the only issues were speed bumps and police checkpoints. We had pleasant conversation with the driver Wo was very concerned about our comfort and health. Halfway each way was a restroom and snack stop with very pleasant and clean bathrooms. When we arrived the guide escorted us to get a golf cart ride to the Treasury. It was or would have been a long, long walk. We saw it and decided to return without going further. Overall it was a wonderful tour for the two of us 72 year-olds.

Adnan began our day graciously and punctually. All along our way to Petra, he gave us a true sense of life about his well loved home country of Jordan. Truly enlightening. When we arrived at Petra, he gave us clear directions as to how our day would go and handed our group into the competent and friendly leadership of Mohammed.
