De Darwin City Explorer tour is een geweldige manier om de belangrijkste attracties en bezienswaardigheden in en rond de 'Top End' van Australië te bezoeken. Perfect voor een eerste keer bezoeker of familie, zal uw ervaren tour Gids Darwin's topattracties laten zien en krijgt u volledige commentaar op de kleurrijke bezienswaardigheden hier. Bezienswaardigheden die bezocht worden zijn onder andere de olieopslagtunnels uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog of de tentoonstelling RFDS/Bombing of Darwin, Aviation Heritage Centre, Darwin Botanical Gardens en het Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.

Het Museum & Art Gallery toont een scala aan displays, waaronder de Cyclone Tracy-simulator, Aboriginal Art & Craft, Sweetheart the rogue Croc, pre-historische displays en nog veel meer. Er is ook een café waar u snacks en drankjes kunt kopen.
Het Darwin Aviation Museum herbergt een B52-vliegtuig en vele andere displays met betrekking tot de geschiedenis van de luchtvaart en de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
De George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens bevinden zich in 42 hectare inheemse en tropische flora, plus een orchideeënhuis en een café.
Op zaterdag (alleen ) bezoeken we de Parap Village Markets waar u lokale voedingsmiddelen en ambachten kunt kopen.
We rijden langs Fannie Bay Goal op weg naar East Point Nature Reserve. Je gids zal informatie geven over de geschiedenis van het doel terwijl we voorbij rijden.
Je gids geeft informatie over Parliament House terwijl je er langs rijdt.
Antiek motorvoertuig-, auto- en fietsmuseum in een pretentieloze vliegtuighangar uit 1934.
Deze attractie toont RFDS en WOII geschiedenis, waaronder het bombardement op Darwin Harbour.

In time pick - up. Excellent driver, Full of knowledge and advice. Time did fly by with a lot of laughs in between. We learned a lot about the crocs.
Very good tour when to 3 museums all very interesting when to prap market lots to buy there ,took us around city and explained lots, Very good tour
Best way to see Darwin and the locations of the main sites to get a feel for the area, definitely a must do and very reasonable for the information provided, distance covered and the ability to get on and off at specific sites of interest. The driver was excellent providing a background to the real Darwin history as well as an overview of the main sites and key information about the site. Plan to do a full round trip first up to see where sites are located with respect to your accommodation then visit those furtherest away first. Additional note: Darwin public buses are free so check the bus number and route as they are worthwhile to go to and from some of the more popular sites however keep in mind that the only way truly get the most out of a trip that may be limited in time in the Darwin City Explorer Tour.
Our driver Karen was prompt and organised. Her commentary was informative and entertaining. All the attractions were very interesting, I would highly recommend it to friends

Very informative and interesting trip- our guide Ian was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of time to explore each of the venues visited. The small group enabled us to get to know our fellow travellers
I was quite disappointed. Our driver Karen was thoroughly jaded. Yes we were picked up on time and that was fine. The reality is that we actually had the experience of a hop on and hop off bus. At every destination, Karen pulled in and then sat gave us a departure time whilst staying in the bus on her backside. Every destination except one was free so the free entrance element was slightly misleading. I did feel it was expensive for what we got.
Not a bad trip but didn’t suit our expectations. The driver was very informative about what we wasn’t very interested in.
