Dalyan-bustrip naar Caunos, Turtle Beach en Sultaniye-modderbad vanuit Marmaris

Beginnend met klanten die om ongeveer 08:30 uur bij hun respectievelijke hotels worden opgehaald. U wordt eerst met een luxe touringcar naar de waterval bij Koycegiz gebracht. Na een verblijf van ongeveer 20 minuten stapt u weer in de bus die u naar het meer bij Koycegiz brengt. Hier stapt u aan boord van een van de boten en wordt u naar de Sultaniya Thermal Springs en Mud Baths gebracht. Na een verblijf van ongeveer een uur wordt de lunch aan boord geserveerd terwijl u de rivier afvaart langs Dalyan en de 3000 jaar oude rotsgraven, door de viskwekerij en verder naar het wereldberoemde 7 km lange gouden Turtle Beach, waar eeuwenlang de beroemde zee schildpad komt aan land om zijn eieren te leggen. U kunt zwemmen of gewoon zonnebaden tot ongeveer 16:00 uur tot 16:30 uur, wanneer u weer aan boord gaat en terug naar Dalyan wordt gebracht. Hier stapt u in de bus om naar het Gold Centre te worden gebracht waar handgemaakte sieraden worden geproduceerd. Na een kort bezoek wordt u teruggebracht naar Marmaris.

Marmaris Dalyan Koycegiz Lake Tour begint met een gratis ophaalservice vanaf uw hotel om ongeveer 08.30 uur in de ochtend.
De transfer van Marmaris naar het Koycegiz-meer duurt 45 minuten.
Bij onze aankomst bij het meer brengen we al onze gasten over op de rivierboten en met hen zullen we de omgeving verkennen met behulp van deze boten. De oversteek van dit fascinerende meer is op zichzelf al een buitengewone ervaring. Het Koycegiz-meer haalt zijn kracht uit verschillende rivieren en bergstromen, en versmalt vervolgens op een gegeven moment en mondt uit in de Dalyan-rivier.
De thermische modderbaden van Sultaniye maken deze reis nog leuker. Ze kunnen stinken vanwege de zwavel die in het water is opgelost, maar spelen en baden in deze modderbaden is goed voor je gezondheid. Er wordt gezegd dat modderbaden hier je 10 jaar jonger doet lijken! Na een heerlijk modderbad kunt u de douches gebruiken om uzelf schoon te maken en wat verfrissingen te nuttigen in de nabijgelegen cafetaria. De lunch wordt na de modderbaden op onze boot geserveerd.

Dalyan staat bekend om de oude Lycische rotsgraven in Kaunos die dateren uit 400 voor Christus. We stoppen vlak voor hen voor een fotopauze en onze gidsen zullen gedetailleerde informatie geven over deze oude graven.
Als we aankomen bij Turtle Beach waar we ongeveer 90 minuten stoppen. Hier kunt u zwemmen en de omgeving verkennen. Dit is een beschermd strand omdat het een van de laatst bekende broedplaatsen is voor de bedreigde soort onechte karetschildpadden. Sommige delen van het strand zijn gesloten voor menselijke toegang. Het Turtle Beach wordt beschouwd als een van de mooiste stranden van Europa. Als ze geluk hebben, zie je misschien de schildpadden zwemmen of voorbij komen.
Aan het eind van de dag varen we helemaal terug en komen aan in Koycegiz, waar we onze bus ontmoeten.
Aan het einde van de tour bereiken we terug naar Koycegiz en rijden we naar Marmaris. Wij zorgen ervoor dat onze gasten terug naar hun hotel worden gebracht via onze gratis hoteltransferservice.

Too long before turtle beach only 1.30 hours would like more time there
2nd time I've been and still think this is an amazing day out. Cost £20 includes lunch but not drinks. It's a full day from 8.30am boat arrives back at out 8pm. Plenty of loungers and bean bags on board boat. We saw massive turtles. Swam in the sea which wasn't deep. The scenery is beautiful. Sea was a bit choppy in way back. Well worth doing this trip

Payed for Turtle bay trip on last day with a rep from MCA Holidays who was on shuttle bus to hotel, which was cancelled due to weather could not get a money back off them for the trip ,watch out for any dealings with MCA Holidays

Our group came from a cruise ship and needed to have the return time earlier than the tour was advertised. The phone operators worked with us to accomodate our needs, modify the touring time, and dietary requests for the lunch. Our tour guide Ahmet was knowledgeable, pleasant, and kept us on schedule. Bus driver also drove safely!

This Day Trip was booked through Mares Travel although those taking part appeared to have booked through various other Agencies. Although I have classed it as 4 star overall there are various elements to the trip and it is better that I give a classification for each aspect. The coach picking us up from our Hotel (8.30) and taking us to the Lake (55 minutes) was very good quality (5*) as was the guide who staying with us all day (5*). The basic cost paid (£20) was also good value (5*). The boat used had seen better days (3*) and safety aspects need improving (1*) - there was no safety drill, I could only see 8 old life jackets and 3 safety rings (despite over 50 passengers being on board) and the captain kept leaving the wheel unattended to sell drinks or letting passengers take over steering the boat whilst he went off elsewhere. Lunch was included in the tour which turning out to be a fairly basic chicken meal (2*). You could upgrade to a better quality Sea Bream Lunch (3*) for TL180 (£9). This was served at 12.00pm and Dinner was served at 3.30pm upon leaving the Beach for the return journey. Dinner was not included and consisted of Sea Bream (TL180) or Crab (TL200). Drinks could be purchased throughout the trip. The boat departed at 9.45am across the lake, arriving at the Mud Baths and Thermal Springs around an hour later. These were a bit of fun. I am rather doubtful as to whether they did you any good and 75 minutes to cover both was not quite enough time. a quick dip was all we could manage in the springs (4*). It took around 1.75 hours to travel to Turtle Beach, during which time lunch was served and we passed the Rock Tombs (4*). We stayed at the beach for 90 minutes which was ideal for us but I would imagine could be too long if the weather was bad. We were told to buy our drinks before leaving the boat as beer was not served on the beach -which was true. What we were not told was that all other drinks plus food and ice creams were sold at very reasonable prices (English Tea 7TL -40p, Chips TL30). Free Clean Toilets and Showers were available as were Sun Beds - subject to charge (4*). At 3.15pm we returned to the boat. The captain encouraged a couple of Turtles to come to the surface for us with Crab on a line. After dinner was served (3*) we set off for the 2 hour boat trip back to the coach (which was rather long for the children on board) (3*). The coach then returned us to our hotels by 6.45pm (5*). As previously said, overall I classed it at 4* but others might think higher or lower dependant about the importance placed by them on the individual elements.
