De begeleide wandeling naar de Regenboogberg (Vinicunca) is een dagvullende toeristische ervaring waarbij bezoekers een van de meest iconische natuurlijke bezienswaardigheden van de Peruaanse Andes kunnen ontdekken. De service omvat toeristisch vervoer heen en terug vanuit Cusco, een gecertificeerde professionele gids, ontbijt en lunch, en georganiseerde ondersteuning, zodat deelnemers in alle rust en comfort van de wandeling kunnen genieten. Bij aankomst op het belangrijkste uitkijkpunt van Vinicunca krijgen bezoekers de gelegenheid om dit unieke natuurlandschap te bewonderen en te fotograferen, en hebben ze ruim de tijd om het geologische fenomeen dat de berg kenmerkt te verkennen en te waarderen.

We beginnen met het ophalen van uw accommodatie in Cusco. Daarna reizen we ongeveer 3 uur met ons toeristenvervoer.
Aankomst bij ons restaurant in de plaats Cusipata, waar we zullen genieten van een ontbijtbuffet voordat we aan onze wandeling beginnen.
Ons toeristenvervoer brengt ons naar het startpunt van de wandeling. Vanaf dit punt maken we een wandeling van ongeveer 1 uur en 30 minuten (heen en terug) naar Rainbow Mountain.
Na de wandeling bereiken we Rainbow Mountain. Vanaf dit punt heb je ook een panoramisch uitzicht op de met sneeuw bedekte berg Ausangate. We hebben vrije tijd om uit te rusten, foto's te maken en van de omgeving te genieten.
Na ons bezoek aan Rainbow Mountain keren we met ons toeristenvervoer terug naar ons restaurant voor een lunchbuffet.
Tot slot keren we terug naar de stad Cusco, waarmee onze diensten worden afgesloten.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
De chauffeur en gids halen u op bij uw accommodatie. Als uw accommodatie zich niet in het ophaalgebied bevindt, kunnen we u ophalen bij Plaza Regocijo. Zorg ervoor dat u bij de receptie van uw hotel alles wat u nodig hebt klaar hebt liggen om uw gids te ontmoeten.

Extraordinary excursion. Stunning landscapes and environments. Our guide Grimaldo was excellent, very helpful and knowledgeable. We recommend a late departure so that you do not have to wake up too early and you will find much less crowd on site. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved this experience. Stunning landscapes of the rainbow mountain but I found the surrounding Andes mountains just as spectacular. Everything ran on time, was well organised, food was good and guides were helpful/friendly. Highly recommend but note this is a long, tough day - you start really early (~3am), it’s a long drive out from Cusco and at 5,000m the climb up the mountain is not easy. There are horses available to rent for a reasonable price though if you need/want to use them.
