Deze unieke tour neemt je mee door het binnenland van het regenwoud. De eerste halte is Y.S. Watervallen waar je kunt genieten van de natuur in zijn natuurlijke staat, terwijl het koele verfrissende water ongeveer 120 voet naar beneden stroomt in de Y.S. Rivier. Volgende reis per boot over de Black River Safari, de langste rivier van Jamaica, waar je exotische vogels, planten en dieren in het wild zult zien, zoals de bedreigde Amerikaanse krokodil. Verder naar een van de meest unieke plekken om te eten en iets te drinken en een van de, of zo niet de beste zonsondergang te zien die er in de hele wereld is in Floyd's Pelican bar, uw vakantie kan niet beter zijn. Spring aan boord van een tractor getrokken jitney die je naar YS Falls brengt - een reeks van zeven watervallen die overgaan in natuurlijke poelen. U kunt afkoelen in de natuurlijke watervalzwembaden en een 1,2 meter diep waadbad dat wordt omringd door een patio en een tuin. Andere activiteiten zijn een canopy zipline tour en tubingritten op de rivier. Er zijn badmeesters aanwezig. Het landgoed heeft een restaurant waar u lunch kunt kopen, evenals kleedkamers en milieuvriendelijke toiletten. Je tour eindigt met drop-off op je startpunt in Montego Bay aan het einde van je dagtour.
Ontdek de schoonheid van de zuidkust met een boottocht. Start de grootste bevaarbare rivier van Jamaica en door het grootste moerasgebied van Jamaica, Black River Safari, het lagere moeras van de Black River. De boottocht van 1 1/2 uur over de Black River is de moeite waard. Vaar in een comfortabele safariboot langs gigantische rode mangrovebomen met hun steltenachtige wortels die vanaf een hoogte van meer dan 40 'naar beneden vallen in het rustige water. Bekijk de zeldzame en bedreigde Amerikaanse krokodil in zijn natuurlijke habitat en bekijk enkele van de 100 soorten exotische vogels in deze ongerepte wetlands. Je kunt ook zien dat de lokale visser nog steeds verse krabben gevangen in lange, dunne, traditionele houten kano's - in dezelfde rivier als de krokodillen!
Tussen Treasure Beach en Black River wordt u meegenomen door een vissersboot naar een rustieke houten bar gebouwd op een zandbank een kwart mijl naar zee. De Pelican Bar is de perfecte plek om te zonnen, bier te drinken, te zwemmen en verse gefrituurde vis te eten. De Pelican Bar begon toen de lokale visser Floyd Forbes droomde van een bar gebouwd op zee, rustend op palen. Grote houten planken werden op zijn vissersboot vervoerd. In 2001 werd de bar voltooid en werd deze "The Pelican Bar" genoemd naar de grote groepen pelikanen die op de zandbank rustten. Het werd al snel populair bij de lokale bevolking en toeristen als een plaats van perfecte sereniteit. Bekijk de prachtige zonsondergang (als het weer het toelaat) evenals de klifduik en luister naar de Reggae Band. Een perfecte plek om achterover te leunen, te ontspannen met een cocktail in de hand. De boottocht is tussen de 15 - 20 minuten, maar de reis waard.

Honestly couldn’t fault the experience and Andre (our driver). He was more than accommodating to all of our requests, made sure we were safe and having a good time, not to mention his humour, we were honestly all laughing the whole time. I would highly recommend using Andre and his services and I will absolutely be contacting him next time I’m in Jamaica to do it all again.
We had a wonderful time with Demar. We wanted to only go to black river and pelican bar. We decided at the last minute on the excursion so we called at 8 am and they were able to pick us up at 10 am! Demar was knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone!
OMG Demar is on point. We spent a long day with Demar. We toured Appleton Rum Estates, YS FALLS, and Floyd's Pelican Bar. Truly and amazing day. Demar kept us informed on what to expect, as well as helped us with other things to do in Negril. This is an experience not to be missed and Demar is the driver you want.
Demar was a great host. He showed us many pints of interest along the way and gave us great information about the island. Will definitely use his services again in the future.
Brillant day out for montego bay . We went to YS falls , black river safari tour and the pelican bar . Roxanne was our driver , she was very friendly and very helpful on our journey to and from our hotel . If you are looking to do this experience I would recommend this company and if you ask for roxanne she will help you have the best possible time !!!

This was my first time in Jamaica and I must say this tour made it sooooo special. I got the chance to see the beautiful Jamaican landscapes! And I even swam in a river with real crocodiles :O extremely exciting experience! The tour to the bar was so cool as well. But mainly we were super happy with Other out tour guide (now a dear friend) he was so nice and made the day super special. Thnx so much Demar! This was my first trip to Jamaica and I must say it was very very special. I had the opportunity to see the beautiful landscapes of Jamaica. We went to the river by boat and were able to jump and swim! Yes! In the river where many crocodiles live, which according to the locals are not aggressive! It was very exciting to live this experience. The bar was an important part of the tour to get to know Jamaican culture and we loved it. But the main thing was the company of our guide Demar (now our great friend) who made the trip very special. Thank you very much friend Demar!

Shelton was an amazing driver and tour guide!! We spent all day with him, and he was so patient answering my husband's many many questions. =) First, we did the Black River Safari to see crocodiles. This was relaxing, but in hindsight, it probably could have been skipped. Next we were taken to a small boat that took us to the Pelican Bar. This was my favorite part! It was amazing to see! Last, Shelton drove us to YS Falls, where a guide walked us through the rocks and took great photos and videos of us. Bring water shoes! This was a good intro to see Falls, but there isn't much to see. (Mayfield Falls will be much longer and more challenging to walk through / climb.) YS Falls also has a pool, if you're interested. When we went, there were A LOT of people.. almost all locals. It was a long day, so we ate a quick lunch at YS Falls, which was not included in the package. Important note: Entrance fees to the 3 locations are NOT included in the Viator package. I believe each of the 3 locations were $25 USD per person. I would recommend paying in JMD instead.. we paid a little less for Black River and YS Falls. Also bring extra cash for tips for your driver and guides at each of the 3 locations. In the end, this is a pricey tour. Pelican Bar was definitely my favorite.
My family booked a private tour of YS falls and Black River. We had Roxy who was an amazing guide and provided great service. We appreciated being able to customize our tour by making stops along the way and not being rushed with a big tour group. The private tour was a great value and we would use the service again in the future. Even though there were some mechanical issues with the boat which resulted in us being stranded in a crocodile filled river with a bush fire in the background and a torrential downpour, we had a great time! Thanks again Roxy for the amazing trip and laughs along the way.
