Terwijl we naar het noorden rijden, is de eerste stop van de dag op deze charmante locatie in het hart van Perthshire - een prachtige plek voor een versnapering en de kans om Schotse hooglanders te ontmoeten en te voeren!
Door de Cairngorms en de wilde wildernis. De Cairngorms herbergen enkele van de hoogste toppen van de Britse eilanden, waaronder Ben Macdui en Braeriach. Deze bergen, met hun ruige hellingen en dramatische bergkammen, bieden adembenemende vergezichten. Terwijl u verder naar het noorden reist, zult u het heerlijk vinden om de landschappen in u op te nemen.
Hoogtepunt van de dag is Loch Ness. Wereldwijd bekend van het legendarische monster van Loch Ness, liefkozend bekend als "Nessie." Dit diepe, zoetwaterloch strekt zich ongeveer 23 mijl lang uit en wordt omgeven door een prachtig landschap. We stoppen zodat u de mysteries kunt verkennen en kunt genieten van de natuurlijke schoonheid. U heeft de mogelijkheid om te genieten van een cruise op het meer voor een aantal monsters spotten in combinatie met een bezoek aan Urquhart Castle (£ 30,00 extra per volwassene, alleen contant). Als alternatief kunt u genieten van het uitzicht vanaf de oevers van het meer.
Geniet van het klauteren rond de ruïnes van het kasteel, gelegen direct aan de oevers van Loch Ness. Urquhart Castle is een historisch fort doordrenkt van eeuwenlange intriges en biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op het iconische meer. Great Guide, Great Driver. The trip is 13 hours long and you will spend most of the time in the bus about 8 hours.
A great glimpse of the highlands. Beautiful visit to Loch Ness was the highlight. Couldn’t ask for a better tour guide than Steven B!

The ambiance was cheerful, maybe sometimes a little too loud from the front of the bus but it was more than fine! Terry was a sweet and very positive guide who gave us very clear instructions for each step; she shared a lot of good stories and anecdotes on the way, and we really enjoyed the photo stops. We even got a bonus stop at the end to see coos that were only a few meters from us.

I did this tour with Steven B as my guide, and had an absolutely fantastic time! I really enjoyed the knowledge and history he shared on our trip. Each stop was so beautiful, though we were so lucky with weather today. I’m grateful to have had such a fun and knowledgeable guide for my first tour in Scotland! 10/10 recommend this day tour, and would absolutely suggest spending extra to take the ferry across Loch Ness to Castle Urquhart. I had a wonderful experience, and would happily book a tour with this company again.

I was travelling solo and managed to have an amazing time beyond my expectations! Paul is the best tour guide I’ve ever had and made me feel so included and comfortable. I highly recommend this tour as it’s very easy going, well spaced out, and hits just enough spots to where I feel satisfied in seeing all the sights on my vacation. I will say these tours tends to book up FULL so be prepared to be crunched into your seat with a possible stranger for a few hours. Being a book, pillow, snacks, water, and good walking shoes!

While our tour guide was great, the actual experience was miserable and completely misinformed by marketing videos. There was a stark contrast between the immersive stops shown online versus reality. Time at each location was minimal, and most stops were at convenience stores and gas stations. Being out on a bus for 13 hours, we expected opportunities to buy sustainable meals and shop locally, not survive on gas station food. To make matters worse, the bus was miserably hot the entire time. The guide did their best, but the terrible itinerary and uncomfortable conditions ruined the day.
