Beschrijving
Deze prachtige waterval, een van de hoogste in de regio, cascades kristalhelder gletsjerwater van een hoogte van 70 meter in zijn bassin. Het schilderachtige pad naar de Materuni-waterval, gelegen op 2500 meter boven zeeniveau, slingert door valleien en heuvels gehuld in tropisch regenwoud, naast koffie, banaan en avocado "shambas" - de Kiswahili term voor boerderijen. Na een lokale lunch vertrekt u naar de Chemka Hot Springs. We halen je na de lunch op van Materuni en vervoeren je naar de Chemka Hot Springs. De rit naar de Hot Springs gaat over een zeer hobbelige en bochtige weg, waardoor de rit meer dan 40 minuten duurt. Bij aankomst in de Hot Springs heeft u de mogelijkheid om te zwemmen, te ontspannen, te lunchen en te zonnebaden. Als u wilt, kunnen we een barbecue voor u bereiden terwijl u zwemt. Voor groepen die deze tour boeken met meer dan 10 deelnemers wordt een redelijke korting per groep aangeboden.

Deze zeer indrukwekkende waterval is een van de hoogste in het gebied, hij doorkruist valleien en heuvels bedekt door tropisch regenwoud, voorbij koffie, banaan en avocado "Shambas", het Swahili-woord voor boerderijen.
Je vertrekt vanaf de Materuni-watervallen en rijdt naar Maji Moto. Deze schilderachtige rit neemt je mee van het toeristische pad en biedt een kijkje in het lokale leven: drukke markten en lokale boerderijen. Daarna breng je een paar uur door in het aangenaam warme water, slingerend op de touwschommel, ontspannen in de zonovergoten schaduw van de bomen en smullen van lokale favorieten zoals chips mayai

We had an amazing day! Our tour guide Jonny was the best, we shared a lot of laughs and he gave us many new information. We started the day by hiking to the Materuni Waterfall, then went to see how coffee is made, had a traditional lunch and finished with visiting the hot springs. Would recommend 10/10

The tour was very nice, waterfalls, coffee and food were very good as well as the hot springs, perfect to relax after the hike to the waterfalls. We went with the tour guide called Jonny, he was really nice, explained everything and took perfect care of everything. We totally recommend this tour!

After a Great safari experience we decided on a day tour. We visited the large art gallery first, which was impressive. We then did a Coffee tour which took us from the fields through the entire process. Very neat and informative. The meal was delicious and the coffee very good. Karibu coffee farm was great. Johnny was our guide and he was very good. He went above and beyond. He even took us to the Maasi market to shop for local gifts. Recommend.

Interesting tour of coffee garden, whole life cycle of growth, harvest, process, ending with tasting fresh ground and roasted coffee. Included lunch which was excellent. Stopped at Art Gallery before and and the Maasi market afterwards. Johnny, our host and driver, was wonderful and accommodating.

We had an amazing one-day tour to Materuni Waterfalls and the Chemka Hot Springs, and a big part of that was thanks to Johnny. He was super attentive throughout the entire day, made sure everything went smoothly, and shared so many interesting facts about local culture and life in Tanzania, which made the experience even more special. We also had an excellent guide during the hike to Materuni Waterfalls — very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The coffee experience was wonderful and so much fun, and the Chagga local lunch was absolutely delicious. Everything was well organized, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this tour!
The trip was great. I really enjoyed having a cold refreshing shower inside of this great waterfall, it feels like cleaning Your soul. The coffee tour part was also very interesting so You learn how the coffee is grown and prepared and the coffee itself was so tasty I drank 5 cups :)

Mr. Jr has been super helpful. The waterfall was phenomenal, even got to see the top of Kilimanjaro emerging from the clouds. What a way to finish the trip!
