Breng een dag door in de mooie stad Luzern tijdens een dagtrip vanuit Zürich, geniet van een korte introductie in de stad, een cruise op het Vierwoudstrekenmeer en voldoende vrije tijd. Nadat u zuidwaarts door schilderachtige landschappen bent gereisd, ontvangt u een korte introductie tot Luzern terwijl u de stad binnenrijdt. Geniet dan van ongeveer zes uur op uw gemak om de stad in uw eigen tempo te verkennen. De dagtocht is inclusief een ticket voor een panoramische cruise van een uur op het Vierwoudstrekenmeer, waarbij u vanaf het water kunt genieten van het prachtige landschap aan het meer. In 2026 wordt de cruise uitgevoerd door een alternatief motorschip terwijl het Saphir-jacht wordt omgebouwd naar een duurzaam waterstofaangedreven systeem.

Begin uw dag met een pick-up van Sihlquai busstation in het centrum van Zürich. Geniet van de busrit door het prachtige Zwitserse platteland en langs de oevers van het Vierwoudstrekenmeer naar Luzern.

The day was very well organised. Carola our guide was great and explained very well how the day would progress. She kept us all to time very well and each activity was very enjoyable. I would recommend the experience as a great way to enjoy the area.
The views were absolutely spectacular both on the mountain and on the boat tour!! my disappointment was that I thought it was a guided tour and it wasn’t. It was just the bus trip. They provided us with a ticket for the train and the boat and a map and a schedule of what time the trains came and what time to be at the bus to go home. The guy that was on the bus spoke very low and I couldn’t hear anything he said, and almost everybody around me said the same thing. So any information he may have given I didn’t hear. I think if I would’ve known, I would’ve studied more what to do in Lucerne so I could’ve made the most of my visit there. Being alone, I was afraid of not being able to find our bus so I spent too much time looking for that.
The operator is very well organized from the meeting point with its own kiosk marked prominently so you can’t miss it. The tour guide Gonzalo is informative and friendly made our trip one to remember - we will return and make sure to go with The Best of Switzerland Tours in the future. We had a bad experience the day before with another tour operator with no presence LOCALLY - very important factor when travelling globally (we later found out it was in Estonia).
Essentially, with this tour, you're basically paying for a bus ride. The bus takes you up, you spend WAY TOO LONG in Lucerne, go a boat ride, and then a bus ride home. When you're not on the boat you just kind of wander around a very picturesque, but far too touristy town for 5 hours. I mean, how many crowded stores can you go into selling the same Swiss Army knives, watches and t-shirts? The boat ride is pleasant, I guess, but if you've ever been on a boat before it's nothing different. Bottom line: Take an Uber there, spend an hour or two shopping, ride the boat if you want, then Uber back to your hotel. The one highlight of the trip was the helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant guide that traveled along with us.

I recently joined a tour to Lucerne from Zurich and had a very pleasant experience overall. Gabby was a great guide and paid attention to all. Made sure all had their questions answered. Very good at directing us. She cares. Pilatus ride up and down were very memorable. Restaurant at top was excellent.
We went to Lucerne and Mount Titilis today! It was a very nice experience and we enjoyed it very much! Even though we could not climb to the top of the mountain, we enjoyed it very much! Our driver Antonio and our guide Carla and Walter, very friendly and knew a lot... helped us with everything! Highly recommended this tour!
Very easy to find the bus station to get on our tour bus. The tour guide gave us a nice overview of the area and took us on a small guided walk to the famous wooden bridge in Lucerne. She provided us with a map of other tourist spots around town and showed us where the boat launch was located. The boat ride was nice and it gave a good overview of the lake and some of its history. Our return bus arrived on time and gave us a comfortable ride home. Please note you are left alone to tour on your own in Lucerne. No one guides you through town. We enjoyed this because we love to check out new locations on our own at our own pace.
Lots of “on your own time” in Lucerne. We had over 6 hrs to explore. The coach ride was well narrated into town and the lake cruise was beautiful on a comfortable quiet boat.
