Emerald Lake, gelegen in Yoho National Park, staat bekend om zijn opvallende groene wateren, gecreëerd door mineraalrijke afvoer van de omliggende bergen. Het is een rustigere, serenere plek in vergelijking met Lake Louise en Moraine Lake, perfect voor wie op zoek is naar een rustige ontsnapping. Ook gelegen in Yoho National Park, de Natural Bridge is een prachtige rotsformatie waar de Kicking Horse River heeft uitgehouwen een brug van steen. Johnston Canyon is een prachtige plek om te wandelen en is een diepe, smalle kloof met watervallen die langs de rotswanden naar beneden vallen. Het pad volgt het pad van de canyon en leidt naar zowel de Lower Falls als Upper Falls. Het is vooral adembenemend in de herfst wanneer de bladeren levendige kleuren krijgen, of in de winter wanneer de watervallen bevriezen tot ijssculpturen. (Open van 1 juni tot 14 okt) Een klein eindje rijden van Lake Louise, Moraine Lake is even beroemd om zijn levendige turquoise water omlijst door de prachtige Vallei van de Tien Pieken. Het is vooral mooi tijdens zonsopgang en zonsondergang wanneer de omliggende bergen reflecteren op het wateroppervlak. This tour covered a large area. Our guide Naveen was knowledgeable about the mountains and rock formations and presented facts in a fun way. He was responsive, friendly, patient. thoughtful and caring. At the pick-up at Cannmore Vsitor Center we had a hard time finding the van because there were so many tour buses there. He responded to my text message immediately to help us find the van. He lead the walk to the Rockpile at Moraine Lake and was ready to assist me and others with any steep steps. He went around to offer taking pictures for couples/family/friend who wanted to be in a picture together. He would make sure we were all hydrated by offering water bottles along the way. In short, Naveen is an amazing tour guide!

The best tour ever. Absolutely incredible experience cannot say enough good things about 10 hrs tour of lakes Emirald , House waterfalls and town of Banff. Our guide Aasis,was fantastic-knowledgeable and handled all logistics to took as the best point of views. Aasis was a highlight of our tour.

We had an amazing Banff–Lake Louise tour with Aashish, He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and full of great tips throughout the day. He even provided cleats for our shoes, which made a big difference in walk on ice Aashish truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience.
