Maak een dagtrip naar Hydra, een van de meest kosmopolitische eilanden in de Egeïsche Zee. Vertrek vanuit de haven Piraeus met de lokale veerboot naar Hydra in minder dan 2 uur en geniet daarna van 7 uur om dit fantastische Griekse eiland te verkennen. Slenter door het schilderachtige plaatsje met rood-betegelde huizen en geplaveide smalle steegjes totdat het tijd is voor de veerboot terug naar Athene. Dit arrangement is inclusief kaartjes voor de veerboot naar het eiland Hydra en ophalen en afzetten bij centraal gelegen hotels in Athene.

Nadat u bent opgehaald bij uw hotel in Athene om ongeveer 8:00 uur wordt u naar de haven van Piraeus gebracht om aan boord te gaan van de veerboot naar Hydra.
Na minder dan 2 uur op de veerboot, bereikt u het beroemde eiland. U hebt dan zeven uur de tijd om op eigen houtje Hydra te verkennen. Hydra was ooit een populaire bestemming van modieuze kunstenaars tijdens de jaren 1960 en heeft zijn zeer kosmopolitische karakter behouden. Er zijn geen auto's of motorfietsen; vuilniswagens zijn de enige motorvoertuigen toegestaan op het eiland. Breng de dag door met een rondwandeling door de plaats Hydra en bewonder de stenen huizen met bloemrijke tuinen, leuke souvenirwinkels en pittoreske geplaveide straten. Ezels, fietsen en watertaxi's zorgen voor het openbaar vervoer. Hydra heeft veel zwemplekjes en stranden, sommige dicht bij de plaats Hydra en andere afgelegen en alleen bereikbaar per boot. Loungecafés, bars in de haven en luide clubs zijn overal in het stadje te vinden en er is voor ieder wat wils. Geniet op eigen gelegenheid van een dag vol ervaringen en neem 's middags de veerboot terug naar Athene aan het einde van de tour.
U wordt weer teruggebracht naar uw centraal gelegen hotel in Athene om omstreeks 20:00 uur.

The ferry over to Hydra Island was fine however they left me in the island and I had to pay another €300 to get back to the island and they still have not gotten back with me to reimburse me at least half the trip
Overall we were extremely satisfied with our trip organized by Miss Kami Nguyen from Dream Travel. Highly recommended!!. Every destinations was visited as per the itinerary, without any omissions. The Hotel rooms were very comfortable and all the restaurants chosen were excellent. The majority of our group is from Malaysia so finding Halal Food can be challenging. However with this company, Halal meals were arranged for us in both Hanoi and Sapa. Thank you Miss Kami from Dream Travel for all your efforts.🥰🇲🇾
The Hydra port is very nice to visit. Be careful, it goes up and down. No car, no motorbike... Everything on foot. Postcard harbor, cobbled streets, bars and restaurants with magnificent views. Hiking trails for sports enthusiasts, some walking beaches. Departure from Piraeus is at gate 8, one of the closest to the Piraeus metro. Tickets can be purchased online. Otherwise on site (but in advance to be sure of having a place). Each place is numbered. 40€ per trip or 80€ return
trip was far too long; r hrs on the island more than enoug. we were there for 7. The fast cat 6 over was a decrepit tramp steamer that broke down. The crew were rude and nasty. the trip bsck on the fast cat 1 was extremely pleasant with a bery hospitable crew
Lovely island. Our pick up from hotel was timely as was the pickup from the port. Good drivers. Very pleasant.
Everything went smoothly. Our driver was on time to pick us up at the hotel with the ferry tickets. Hydra is charming. No cars allowed only the donkeys. An abundance of restaurants and great views. Very relaxing.

It was amazing! Our drivers to and from our hotel to port were super helpful and kind. Hydra was Incredible. Such a peaceful island with so much to see and the best cafes and people. We went on a donkey ride around the gorgeous cobblestoned streets and ate amazing food. We saw local historical sites and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the island. Definitely need to see this place when visiting Greece.
This package should not be called a tour. We had transportation from and back to our hotel which was great. The taxi driver gave us our tickets and said there is your boat. There was no representative from that tour at the boat. We got on the boat we did not see anyone from the tour. We did not get any refreshments on the boat. We disembarked and did our own thing. I could have bought the tickets on my own and arranged transportation on our own.
This is an excellent tour for experienced travelers. Ferry tickets and transportation via taxi to and from our hotel to the ferry was provided. The taxi driver escorted us to the ferry and met us after the return trip. We enjoyed our easy self-guided day on Hydra very much.
It was a really nice tripe actually! We enjoyed the views the islands and the shops !BUT the big problem was,that the boat was more than a full ! Most ppl didn't have seats ! And they offer you to buy VIP tickets to sit ! It was awful organised! Second once u r in the islands they offer you to buy tours ! DON'T its just a waist of money as the tours r so short and very expensive! They promised to take us to a pistachio garden but we only crossed by car from it ! They promised to treat us the famous drink OUZO they didnt ! The food was HORRIBLE not testy at all ! It was chicken rice and some salad with one piece of bread ! We had to pay extra to buy food !!! Anyway the guides were FANTASTIC , but be careful dont trust the company too much :)
