Julia was awesome! So knowledgeable, and fun, and so patient with a large group in very hot weather! Everything went smoothly and she was on top of everything beginning to end, especially when it came to being dropped off at the Tram station and we couldn’t figure out how to get back to our hotel. She was a great help! A very professional guide!
It was an excellent epxerience. Although it started with a delay, the orgnization was very good due to the efforts of our very skilled guides Bianca and Valeska. They managed to control the whole day-trip, told us interesting and useful things about the sightseeings. I started the tour somehow reluctantly, because it seemed a very busy schedule, but in the end I think it was good day.
Excellent day trip through Tuscany. Four stops, last two with steep hills. Just be prepared for a full day, particularly in the heat of July. Get the full guided tour.
We booked this tour through Viator, and unfortunately when we arrived, My Tours had no record of our reservation. It was a frustrating mix-up between the third-party companies. I had confirmed everything beforehand, so it was disappointing to start the day dealing with the booking issue. We also had to split our group onto two different buses because of the confusion. Thankfully, the rest of the experience more than made up for it. Our guides, Julia and Toula, were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and organized. They shared interesting history on the drive, provided clear instructions at every stop, and made the day run smoothly. Our driver, Michelle, was also excellent. Siena was beautiful, although I think a little less time there and more time at the final stop would have made the itinerary even better. The lunch and wine tasting were a highlight. I only wish there had been a bit more storytelling about the wines and why they were named after different people, as I ended up researching that on my own later. Overall, despite the disappointing start, this was a wonderful tour with great guides, beautiful locations, and a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend it.
