Veel plezier tijdens deze flexibele en aanpasbare privédagtrip van Quito naar Baños de Agua Santa, beschouwd als een van de meest opvallende Ecuadoriaanse hoogtepunten, begeleid door professionele en deskundige lokale gidsen! Je gids haalt je om 7.30 uur op bij je hotel of adres in de wijk Quito. Onderweg bewonder je prachtige vulkanen zoals Antisana, Los Ilinizas, Cotopaxi en Tungurahua.
Eenmaal in de stad zullen we door de charmante straten lopen en we zullen tijd hebben om het klooster van de Maagd van "Agua Santa" te bezoeken, waar het mogelijk is om schilderijen te zien die verschillende uitbarstingen van de Tungurahua-vulkaan beschrijven, die weer in activiteit sinds 2000.
We rijden naar de prachtige en adembenemende "laan van de watervallen", waar we verschillende avontuurlijke sporten kunnen proberen, te beginnen met een stop voor de waterkrachtcentrale van Agoyan; we lopen naar de gemeenschap van "Río Blanco", waar we de schoonheid van het nevelwoud duidelijk waarderen; we zullen de Pastaza River canyon oversteken met een kabelbaan die een 500 meter lange kabel rijdt om de waterval "Manto de la Novia" te bezoeken, waar we alles te weten kunnen komen over de levensstijl van de lokale bevolking tijdens een wandeling naar de rivier.
Na een stop in het uitzichtpunt van de waterval “San Jorge” hebben we de gelegenheid om onze energie op te doen tijdens de lunch, voordat we naar de bekende waterval “Pailón del Diablo” gaan!
Tot slot gaan we buiten de gebaande paden om te genieten van een onbekende torenhoge waterval genaamd "Machay" waar het al mogelijk is om Amazone vegetatie te zien!
U bent ongeveer om 18:45 uur terug in Quito, na meer dan vier verschillende microklimaten te hebben genoten op dezelfde dagtour!!

Ximena was amazing!! This was seriously one of the best days of our lives. She was kind enough to extend our tour when it went long due to holiday traffic. We have limited time in Ecuador and this tour is a great way to see everything with minimal time. In 14 hours we saw 11 waterfalls, zip-lined, did 2 hikes, crossed bridges, rode in gondolas, shopped, ate delicious food & enjoyed drinks & more. Seriously cannot recommend enough! I took a day tour to Banos and Upper Amazon from Quito. My guide Ivan was friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. He provided much information about Ecuador and the destination. I was able to do indoor activities like my first ever Benji-style jump for $25 and a walk to the waterfalls. Especially the Devil's Cauldron is stunning, walking there and back is a workout for your legs! Before driving back to Quito we had a dinner. Highly recommended!

Miriam was very friendly, informative and adaptable on our tour to Banos. Although it is a long drive (3+hrs), the waterfalls are worth seeing, particularly if you climb up the narrow enclosed section to walk behind the waterfall. The crowds were large so there were some delays. We also enjoyed the short cable car ride across the valley and the glass/wooden bridge walk. Miriam explained a lot about the scenery, culture and her life stories - thank you very much. We enjoyed the tour a lot.
