Vang de trein vanaf het treinstation van Athene om 08:28 uur naar Kalabaka en bewonder de prachtige Griekse landschappen tijdens je reis. Aangekomen in Kalabaka om 12:49 uur zal onze luxe minibus op je wachten bij het treinstation van Kalabaka met onze hoogopgeleide, Spaans sprekende reisleider om je aangepaste speciale panoramische middag Meteora Tour te beginnen. Volg een geweldige Meteora-tour van 4 uur, bekijk alle 6 kloosters en bezoek er 3 van binnen. Je reisleider zal je volledige aandacht en zorg geven, aangezien de groep klein zal zijn. Tal van stops om foto's te maken en veel geheime plaatsen die alleen de lokale bevolking kent, zullen van uw tour een levenslange ervaring maken. Uiteindelijk wordt u teruggebracht naar het treinstation van Kalabaka om de trein terug naar Athene te nemen, u heeft ook de tijd voor een mooie wandeling naar de stad Kalabaka. De trein vertrekt om 17:35 uur en je komt om 21:57 uur aan in Athene.

- Ontmoetingspunt: treinstation van Kalabaka (we houden een bord met uw naam vast)
- Je treintickets zijn e-tickets en worden 4 dagen voor de reis naar je e-mail gestuurd of direct als het een last minute reservering betreft. Het is niet nodig om de treinkaartjes uit te printen, u kunt ze gewoon op uw telefoon hebben.
- De leverancier is niet verantwoordelijk voor treinvertragingen die de duur van de tour kunnen beïnvloeden. Je gids en minibus wachten op je op het treinstation van Kalambaka en brengen je gegarandeerd op tijd terug naar het station om je terugreis naar Athene te halen
- Passende kleding voor iedereen is verplicht om de kloosters te betreden. Voor dames zijn rokken door de knie of langer vereist. Geen broek voor dames, geen korte broek, geen mouwloos shirt. Voor heren zijn mouwloze kleding en korte broeken tot over de knie verboden.
- ***BELANGRIJKE UPDATE vanaf september 2023 tot nader order: als gevolg van de recente overstromingen die de treindiensten hebben getroffen, wordt deze tour ter vervanging uitgevoerd door een moderne bus met airconditioning die om 07:45 uur vertrekt vanaf station Athene Larissis. De reis duurt ongeveer 5 uur (met een verfrissingsstop van 20 minuten). Je brengt 5 uur door op de bestemming waar je Meteora bezoekt en keert dan terug naar Athene (aankomst om ongeveer 23:00 uur)***

Everything was very fast, but we know that a one-day tour is very fast; everything was fulfilled according to what was described, the guide Rula was very good, and the driver Cristos drove us well on the route, recommended, a majestic, impressive place.

The experience was incredible, I never thought I would visit such a wonderful place. The nature of the rocks and the caves and the history is incredible. The tour was in Spanish and that was much, by far, better. The guide was excellent company, the food was good, the moments to take photos, and one monastery more incredible than the other. Adequate information. Very good, I recommend it. I am left wanting to go on the longer tour

Beautiful experience, I loved the tour; even though the trip is long, it was worth it. We visited 3 beautiful monasteries. The bus was on time; we made 2 stops during the trip. The guide was very kind and friendly.

The experience of visiting Meteora has been worth it, despite being very heavy to do it in a single day with almost 5 hours of bus from Ida and as many back, since there is no train to take you there. It's an amazing place, unique in the world

An absolutely unforgettable experience! Taking the Athens to Meteora DayTrip by Train tour was certainly one of the best moments of my whole trip to Greece. Meteora’s landscapes are stunning on their own, but what really turned this visit into something extraordinary was the Rula guide. From the outset, Rula showed exceptional dedication and passion. His in-depth knowledge of history, culture and monasteries made each stop come alive. She explained clearly, answered all questions patiently and was always attentive to making each member of the group comfortable and enjoying themselves to the fullest. In addition, it was noticeable that he really loves what he does: his energy, his sympathy and his attention to detail made us feel accompanied by someone very professional and at the same time close. Thanks to it, we understood not only the architecture and spirituality of the place, but also the human stories that make it so special. I recommend this tour 200%, and if you are lucky enough to do it with Rula, prepare for a memorable day. An experience I will always treasure!

We booked it online the night before kind of late a were bit skeptical, but when we show up next day on the bus, they were waiting for us. We had a lovely day, Meterora Is indeed an exceptional place and a MUST SEE while in Greece. Ours was a day trip by bus from Athens. Is a long trip but still enjoyable. The drive was safe, we booked the lunch with them and food was nice too. Thanks to out drivers and tourguide - Clement, we have now really good memories to treasure from such beautiful place.

Excellent visit to 3 monasteries in Meteora with the guide Rula, very friendly and knowledgeable of the subject. The beautiful landscapes, a bit hard walk to get to the first monastery but worth it because it is very cute and interesting. A long day but the bus is comfortable and worth it.
