Het Shimba Hills National Reserve is een klein nationaal reservaat in de voormalige kustprovincie Kenia, op 33 km van Mombasa en 15 km van de kust. Het reservaat is een gebied met regenwoud, bos en grasland aan de kust

Je wordt om 6 uur opgehaald bij je hotel in Mombasa en gaat door naar Shimba Hills voor een gamedrive halverwege de ochtend. We zullen uitkijken naar de bedreigde Sabelantilope, Olifanten, Giraffe, misschien Luipaard, Civetkat, Apen, spitsmuizen. Voor de vogelaars zijn er meer dan 100 vogelsoorten geregistreerd waaronder Struisvogel, Adelaar, Afrikaanse Havik en Honing Gids. We zullen de Shimba heuvels verder verkennen met een bezoek aan de prachtige Shedrick's Falls op de heuvels voordat we verder gaan naar Shimba Lodge voor de lunch. Na de lunch gaat u verder met de game drive tot 15.00 uur. Daarna checkt u uit het park en rijdt u terug naar uw hotel.

My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful safari today. Damaris worked diligently with me to get the best experience and was so very patient. Much appreciated! Nathan was our driver and he was very knowledgeable about the safari and the animals as well as the surrounding areas. We went to the Nairobi National Park, Elephant Project and Giraffe Center. Learning about everything that is done for the benefit of the animals here is awesome and inspiring. Thank you so much for your time and efforts. This was amazing!

I had a fantastic experience on our wildlife tour! Our guide, Peter, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. We spotted lions, crocodiles, rhinos, hippos, and many giraffes and Gazelle. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a quick yet enriching wildlife adventure!
