De grootste piramide ooit gebouwd en het enige overgebleven wonder van de zeven wereldwonderen. Het was oorspronkelijk ongeveer 480 ft hoog, maar nu is de hoogte ongeveer 450 ft. Elke zijde van de vierkante basis is ongeveer 700 ft lang. Houd er rekening mee dat het betreden van de piramide een optionele activiteit is waarvoor een extra kaartje ter plaatse kan worden gekocht.
Tweede piramide op het plateau van Gizeh in tijd en grootte van veraf lijkt hij iets hoger dan die van Cheops vanwege het feit dat hij op een hoger terrein is gebouwd. Houd er rekening mee dat het betreden van de piramide een optionele activiteit is waarvoor een extra kaartje ter plaatse kan worden gekocht.
De derde en kleinste piramide op het plateau van Gizeh. Menkaure (Mycerinus) was de kleinzoon van koning Cheops en zijn piramide was gedeeltelijk bedekt met granietblokken. Houd er rekening mee dat het betreden van de piramide i8s een optionele activiteit is waarvoor een extra kaartje nodig is dat ter plaatse kan worden gekocht.
Welkom in het Grand Egyptian Museum, een adembenemende reis door 5000 jaar beschaving. Dit architectonische wonder staat aan de voet van het plateau van Gizeh en herbergt 's werelds grootste collectie oude Egyptische artefacten. Als je door de grote zalen loopt, kom je torenhoge faraobeelden, glinsterende koninklijke schatten en ingewikkeld vervaardigde relikwieën tegen die het genie van een van de grootste culturen uit de geschiedenis onthullen. Het kroonjuweel is de complete collectie van Toetanchamons schatten, voor het eerst samen tentoongesteld. Very safe and very informative tour with a well spoken Egyptologist Mimo and Emad as the driver. Do not miss the spice shop Egyptologist spices and make sure that the attendant actually gives you samples of each and every spice and incense, etc. because if you don’t you miss out on a lot. Get through both the GEM and the pyramids with at least two other parts of the city and a Nile boating easily in one day!
Fantastic experience and a full day of life memories. I would highly recommend this tour. From hotel pick-up, driver and transport, and our guide Mahmoud, everything was amazing and the best meal of the holidays. The Sphinx and great pyramids, camel ride, GEM museum, lunch, and boat trip on the Nile to finish. We simply had an amazing day. Mahmoud is a great guide, knowledgeable, and so enthusiastic boarding on slightly theatrical he enthused us throughout the day. This is a top trip and well worth doing.

We spent a full day with Mimo and Adel, everything was so well planned and organized since the moment we booked…I am leaving Cairo with the head full of memories and most importantly more knowledge about this great culture and history Mimo is a real professor we learned so much with him and he took care of answering every single question and more going the extra mile to make our trip extraordinary!!!
