Breng een onvergetelijke 3 uur door in onze comfortabele minibus met airconditioning en krijg een overzicht van New Orleans. Geen reis naar New Orleans zou compleet zijn zonder de hoogtepunten van onze stad en de gebieden die getroffen zijn door Katrina's overstromingswater te zien. Ga vervolgens naar de moerassen om de geschiedenis en cultuur van de Creolen te ervaren met uw erkende gids, in een rondvaartboot of airboat. (U moet kiezen welke boot u wilt bij het maken van de boeking.) U bent 1 uur en 40 minuten op het water.

Je begeleide wandeltocht door de unieke bovengrondse graven van New Orleans duurt ongeveer 20 minuten.
Zie de Cajuns van de Bayou leven en overleven in harmonie met de moerassen. Hier zijn de waterwegen hun snelwegen. Vanuit het ontspannende comfort van onze Covered Swamp Tour Boats, zullen we langzaam drijven langs een 2000 jaar oude Indian Burial Mound, een Cajun-begraafplaats en een vissersdorp! Misschien ziet u de dieren in het wild die de Barataria-moerassen tot kroonjuweel van de aankoop in Louisiana hebben gemaakt. Als u de airboat-optie kiest, zult u het beste van beide ervaren: een moerasreis en een airboat-rit. Je reist met hoge snelheden op de airboat, vertraagt dan en stopt voor foto's. Onderweg krijgt u een persoonlijke rondleiding door uw lokale kapitein. Onze luchtboten hebben zitplaatsen in stadionstijl, zodat de persoon voor u uw zicht niet belemmert. Elke airboat-stoel is geweldig voor het ervaren van de tour en het bekijken van de natuur. Gators zal dichtbij komen ....... echt dichtbij !!!

**Je moet voor je locatie staan aan het begin van het ophaalvenster anders wordt de bus gedwongen te vertrekken.** Voor ophalingen is er een venster van 30 minuten. Kijk uit voor een bus die zegt Alert Transportation tussen 9:30 AM en ongeveer 10:00 AM.

- Inklapbare rolstoelen zijn toegestaan in de bus, maar de chauffeur mag geen persoon ophalen om hen te helpen toegang te krijgen. De klant moet zelf of met hulp van familie of vrienden in de minibus stappen.
- Hulpdieren zijn toegestaan.
- Emotionele hulpdieren zijn niet toegestaan.
- Let op: je ziet niet gegarandeerd een alligator. Ze overwinteren in de wintermaanden, maar worden gemakkelijk gespot in de lente, zomer en herfst.
- Als u met meerdere passagiers reist, moet u één boeking maken met alle passagiers om ervoor te zorgen dat u op dezelfde boot zit. Als je niet samen hebt geboekt, ben je niet gegarandeerd samen.
- Minimale hoogte-eis voor airboats is 48 inch.
- Deelnemers met rugklachten zijn niet toegestaan op een airboat
- Deelnemers met hartcomplicaties of andere ernstige medische aandoeningen zijn niet toegestaan op een airboat
- Zwangere vrouwen zijn niet toegestaan op een airboat
- Vliegboten zijn niet toegankelijk voor gehandicapten. Er zijn geen liften of hellingen beschikbaar voor gebruik. Gasten moeten zelf of met hulp van iemand in hun gezelschap op of van de boot kunnen stappen.
- Hulpdieren zijn toegestaan, maar niet aanbevolen op airboats als gevolg van het volume van het lawaai op de boot en bedreigingen van de omliggende wilde dieren.

City tour was excellent. Very informative. Our tour guide was great. The swamp tour is something you do not want to miss. We did the small group Airboat tour. Our tour guide Ernie was outstanding.
Our tour guide was Gary. The entire 3-hour tour was very informative. He shared a lot of information about the city and its history. He gave us just enough time for breaks and to take photos, like at the cemetery. The tour bus was clean, and the air conditioning was perfect for today's humidity.
The city tour could have been a little slower , felt a bit rushed. I know there’s a schedule to keep, but still….
Thank you for your feedback. Our city tours are scheduled for 3 hours to cover as much of the city as possible. We can understand that it might have felt rushed since our city is rich of history and culture.
I recently went on a bus tour with Alert Tours, and our guide, Gary, was incredibly knowledgeable about the areas we visited. I was especially interested in the Ninth Ward and the impact of the flooding and damage there. Seeing the area as it is today was still heartbreaking. Gary provided valuable insight into why the devastation happened and also shared parts of his own experience. While his outcome was not as severe as that of many other families in the area, I truly appreciated his willingness to share his story.
The driver was friendly and funny, he gave e us a lot of history, but it seemed to be mostly houses. I dont think we went to the French quarter. There was a big section on Katrina.
Thank you for your feedback. There is a big portion on Katrina, as advertise. As far a the French Quarter, there is only a small portion of it because the tour covers a lot more of other areas such as Uptown, Mid City, City Park, Downtown, Ninth Ward, and Lake Ponchartrain.
Great overall tour. Love the added musical additions to the information. Great rainy day activity minus the airboat due to weather.
The bus tour of the French Quarter & information given by Darren was great and educational. I like the way he handled the bus tour. After we got switched to the Airboat bus, Lorraine was fun but not much of an educational ride. Plus the fact that we had to move to her bus we were seated way back and she did not have any microphone so it was hard to hear. The airboat stated disappointing since we were not called and I had to search which airboat we were to ride. We ended up with Capt Bob. He was great with the tour of the bayou and with educational info about the swamp, alligators, & other animals around the swamp.

I assumed It was with the Louie #3 tour which is the best but, this was different it was a 15min cementary tour that wasn’t like the tour I expected. The swamp tour was decent with Ernie with Louisiana Swamp Tours
Really enjoyed all aspects of this tour.... very informative, courteous and professional guides. Experienced a lot of New Orleans, and surrounding area, in 8 hours. We loved seeing all of the alligators. Experience of a lifetime.
The city and swamp tours were great with knowledgeable guides. The ride out to the swamp was very bumpy and we could not hear the driver talking at all.
