Dit is een dagtour die de geschiedenis, cultuur en het erfgoed van de oude Bengaalse natie van de geschiedenis van het Mogolrijk tot de Britse transformatie zal ervaren. Je leert over het verleden en de huidige positie van Bangladesh en ervaart het gouden tijdperk van de Bangali geschiedenis.

We halen je op bij je hotel of residentie in Dhaka City en beginnen richting Sonargaon (ongeveer 1 tot 1,5 uur reis). 11 : 00 – 11 : 30 uur : Eerst bezoeken we de Goaldi-moskee die in 1519 na Christus werd gebouwd in een dorp Goaldi in Sonargaon door Mulla Hizabar Akbar Khan tijdens het bewind van Sultan Hussain Shah. Het is een van de oude moskeeën van Bangladesh. We nemen hier een kleine theepauze.
Boro Sardar Bari in Sonargaon is een historisch herenhuis gebouwd in 1901 door de rijke koopmansfamilie van Sardar. Het gebouw staat bekend om zijn elegante Indo-Europese bouwstijl en beschikt over grote zuilen, gebogen ramen en ingewikkelde ontwerpen. Ooit was het een symbool van welvaart, maar nu maakt het deel uit van het Sonargaon Folk Arts and Crafts Museum, dat het rijke culturele en artistieke erfgoed van Bengalen toont. Het is een van de meest prominente attracties in Sonargaon, die de grandeur van het verleden van de regio weerspiegelt.
We gaan naar het hoofdgebouw (Prasad) dat vroeger een paleis van koning Isa Kha was. Nu wordt het gebruikt voor Folk, Art and Craft Museum en omvat ook het nieuw gebouwde gebouw van volkskunst. We lopen door de hele campus om de oude hoofdstad van Bengalen te verkennen.
We bezoeken de Panam City die werd gebouwd in 1500 na Christus. Sommige rijke hindoeïstische heren exploiteerden hier hun bedrijf en maakten een stad om te leven met alle faciliteiten. Het gebied is verdeeld door een enkele weg is de belangrijkste koloniale systeem gebouwen. Die artistieke gebouwen zullen ons de oude van Bangla brengen. 13:30 – 14:00 uur : We lunchen in een nabijgelegen restaurant met lokale gerechten die misschien een beetje kruidig en warm zijn. Laat het ons weten na het boeken als u speciale behoeften .. 14:00 – 14:00 : 30:30 uur : We rusten even uit onder de groene boom en roddelen zelf.
We gaan naar de Meghna River om op een boot te rijden. Megh is een van de 3 grote rivieren in Bangladesh. Sonargaon ligt aan de oever van de rivier de Meghna.

It is a half-day tour from 11am. It is better to confirm the opening date of each facility in advance of the participation date. It is recommended to bring an umbrella to avoid sudden rain. Both pick-up and drop-off can be specified by the hotel, so it is safe to say.

We took this tour on a very hot day in late April, and it was great to have an air-conditioned vehicle to take us from one location to the next in Sonargaon. At the guide's request, we ended up departing at 1pm instead of 11am, which meant the tour was a little shorter than expected (as we still returned at 6pm). As a result, some of the stops felt a little rushed and it would have been nice to have an extra 10 min or so at each place (we were at each stop for 15-30 mins rather than the 1-2 hours indicated in the schedule). The most relaxing part of the day ended up being the optional boat ride. This small criticism aside, we were able to see all of the promised highlights and felt very satisfied with the tour overall. (In all honesty, the times indicated in the schedule would be too long for most of the stops, especially in the heat - something inbetween would be ideal). Both our guide, Shahadat, and driver were very professional. Shahadat gave us useful information prior to departure, accompanied us to each of the attractions, and even took photographs for us, and we had a safe and punctual journey. Comparing this tour with others on offer, we felt it was very good value indeed and would recommend it to anyone in Dhaka looking to get outside the city and see some more of beautiful Bangladesh. Five stars!
