Blagaj ligt op slechts een klein eindje rijden van Mostar en is de thuisbasis van een van de meest iconische locaties in Bosnië en Herzegovina, het 16e-eeuwse Derwisjklooster (Tekija), dramatisch gelegen aan de bron van de Buna-rivier, onder torenhoge kliffen. Blagaj Tekke is een 16e-eeuws Derwisjklooster gelegen aan de bron van de Buna rivier, nabij Mostar in Bosnië en Herzegovina. Dit architectonische en spirituele juweeltje is een van de meest pittoreske plekken in het land, waarbij het Ottomaanse design harmonieus wordt gecombineerd met het dramatische natuurlijke landschap.
Genesteld onder een torenhoge klif in het schilderachtige dorpje Blagaj, is de Buna-bron (Vrelo Bune) een van de sterkste en meest pittoreske karstbronnen van Europa. Uit een grot onder een verticale kalkstenen muur komt het turquoise water dat de bron vormt van de Buna-rivier, wat een werkelijk adembenemend natuurspektakel creëert.

We had an exceptional guide, "Sacha," who was very professional; I highly recommend him. We had an excellent time, and the visit was very interesting.
Busy at times but really worth the visit to understand the Dervish history and religious background to this unique place.
The tour was very informative. The guide introduced us to the culture of his country with great enthusiasm. His German was very good and we were able to understand everything well.
This was a wonderful tour. Selmir was so gracious and gave us so much to think about, his commentary was thoughtful, educational and thorough. We were touched by the beauty and hospitality of this city and would recommend anyone to visit and to take this tour.

This tour was fantastic and we had a great guide in Ali. We loved all the information Ali told us and he was able to answer all our questions. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and this impressed us. The visit to the 'Turkish' House was fascinating and the explanation about traditional coffee was captivating. Our only request for next time is that Tui inform their guests of the type of footwear needed for this visit.
