Qadisha staat bekend als de Holly Valley vanwege het bestaan van vele kloosters. Het is op de "Werelderfgoedlijst" geplaatst en wordt beschouwd als een belangrijke plaats voor christelijke bedevaarten.
Bcharri is een prachtig groen dorp in Noord-Libanon. Het is de stad van de enige overgebleven en bewaarde originele Cedars of God en is de geboorteplaats van de beroemde dichter, schilder en beeldhouwer Khalil Gibran die nu een museum in de stad heeft om hem te eren.
In Bcharri, het dorp van de beroemde Libanese schrijver, dichter en schilder Gibran Khalil Gibran, werd door zijn zus Mary een museum gebouwd ter nagedachtenis aan hem. Gibran Museum bezit 440 originele schilderijen en tekeningen van Gibran en zijn graf. Het omvat ook zijn meubels en bezittingen uit zijn studio toen hij in New York City woonde tot zijn privémanuscripten.
Verken de esthetiek van de ceders in het dorp Bcharri tijdens een wandeltocht. Dit oude bos stroomde ooit over van deze soort ceder, en het hout was favoriet bij Egyptenaren, Romeinen en Perzen, om er maar een paar te noemen.
Het klooster van Sint-Antonius ligt op een hoogte van 950 meter boven de zeespiegel in de beroemde vallei van Kozhaya, "de levende schat". De pijnbomen en eiken bedekken de grote heuvels eromheen. Overal in de vallei, die zich uitstrekt tot in de vallei van Qannubin, groeien fruitbomen van elke beschrijving om de grote Qadisha-vallei te vormen, en getuigen zo van de geschiedenis van het kluizenaarsleven en de zoektocht naar heiligheid in Libanon.
18:00 uur : Terugkeer naar Beiroet : Na een dag vol ontdekkingen kunt u ontspannen op de schilderachtige rit terug naar Beiroet, waarbij u nadenkt over uw onvergetelijke dag in de meest iconische bestemmingen van Libanon.
