Cocora Valley, in Salento (een van de plaatsen die tot de Koffiedriehoek behoren) is een van de weinige toegangsgebieden tot Los Nevados National Natural Park, een ecologisch beschermd park met besneeuwde bergtoppen. Bovendien werd de vallei door UNESCO beschouwd als koffiecultuurlandschap van het Colombia-erfgoed. Wandel door deze magische vallei en geniet van enkele van de beste uitzichten ter wereld. Zorg ervoor dat je mobiele telefoon volledig is opgeladen, we weten dat je foto's wilt maken van de geweldige natuur. En als je plotseling wordt betrapt door de nevels en wind, maak je dan geen zorgen, zo is het weer, en het zal de landschappen er alleen maar magischer uit laten zien.
Salento en de Cocora-vallei laten je hun beste natuurlijke plekjes zien, samen met hun traditionele koffieboerderijen en de warme mensen die voor het gebied zorgen. Het is een geweldige combinatie. I have to say what a fantastic tour this was. We loved every part of it. But what really made it special was our tour guide, Juan Camilo. One of the best tour guides we’ve had. He’s personable, knowledgeable and just a guy you enjoy being around for the day. I didn’t get his name but our driver for the day was great as well. From riding on the back of an open Jeep through the Cocora Valley, to exploring the beautiful little town of Salento, to picking and making your own coffee, it was a great trip. Highly recommend!

We booked that private tour as a couple and found it quite pricey, but it was absolutely worth the money. Our guide, Juan Manuel was awesome. We never felt rushed. He took so much time to show us everything and always let us choose what we wanted to see or do. We went first to the beautiful cocora Valley and after that to the coffee tour. We went for a hike in the valley and juan manuel teaches us everything about it. After that we went to the coffee farm. It was the first coffee tour we did, which we made our own coffee from picking the beans 🫘 to rost, ground, and everything. We really enjoyed it. Thank you so much, juan manuel, to be our fantastic tour guide. Also, thank you for our driver and the coffee tour guide. We recommend this tour highly. We started at 8am (its better to start early bc to many people)

Amazing day with Marcela and our driver! Learned so many amazing facts about the valley as well as during the coffee farm experience as well. Getting to travel in the back of the jeep for a bit was also so cool.

We are happy about the timeliness of the whole tour. The recommendation for authentic Colombian food was pleasant.
