Marina Grande is de belangrijkste haven van het eiland Capri in Italië, ten noorden van de hoofdstad Capri en aan de voet van de berg Solaro.
Eenmaal aangekomen op het eiland bereiken we de ingang van de Blue Grotto, gelegen op de heuvel van Anacapri. De rit naar de ingang is geweldig en je bevindt je op de beroemde "Mamma Mia"-route, tussen de bergen en de zee. Als we vroeg in de ochtend aankomen, proberen we de drukte en de lange rijen bij de ingang van de grot te vermijden
Na een trap maak je je klaar om aan boord te springen van een kleine waterfiets die je meeneemt in de unieke blauwe sfeer van de wereldberoemde Grotta Azzurra.
Tijd om Anacapri te verkennen! Dit kleine stadje is de heuvel van het eiland en de schoonheid ervan is intiemer en ongerept. Het herbergt de beroemde Villa San Michele en de verbazingwekkende Seggiovia (stoeltjeslift) naar de berg Solaro... eenmaal bovenaan is het uitzicht adembenemend! Tijdens uw vrije tijd kunt u een van deze activiteiten kiezen of gewoon ontspannen het stadscentrum verkennen.
Ga naar het centrum van Capri. Bereik de kern van het eiland en verken de schoonheid en iconische bezienswaardigheden. Maak een aantal prachtige foto's van de Faraglioni-rotsen, loop langs de Via Camerelle, de straat die de Via Tragara verbindt met het hotel Quisiana, het is de "Straat van de Mode" en er zijn zowel luxe boetieks als kleine ambachtswinkels, drink een kopje koffie in PIazza Umberto. bekend als La Piazzetta met zijn majolica-klok met uitzicht op de Golf, of bezoek de tuinen van Augustus (toegang niet inbegrepen)

We had the most perfect day with Gennaro! From our first greeting at 7:05 at the port in Naples, (yes, he was already there waiting for us, please note, our tour did not depart until 8! ) to our good bye at the end of our day(we were heading to our ship) everything went well! The day was seamless! Gennaro has a great personality, and is an amazing conversationalist. He was knowledgeable, resourceful, fantastic with the teens AND he took great pictures to share with us at the end of the day- what a special touch- thank-you! An start but so worth it. The tour gets you into Capri early to enjoy the sights before the big tour ships arrive. Our guide Lia was great giving us tips on history, attractions and what not to miss, thank you Lia. My wife and I had a great day.

What a spectacular day ! Our tour guide Francesco was so nice / friendly and knowledgeable. The tour is a “must do” and wouldn’t be complete without the chair lift in Anacapri. A once in a lifetime experience!
