Glijd door een 20 km lang mangrovereservaat aan de kust tijdens een boottocht en spot het levendige vogel- en waterleven. Sluit je aan bij de lokale bevolking om ambachtelijke vistechnieken te leren, en als het geluk aan je kant staat, vang dan vis om de gemeenschap te ondersteunen. Daarna kunt u ontspannen aan zee, genieten van een heerlijke lunch en genieten van het zwembad terwijl u geniet van het adembenemende uitzicht op de kust. Of de reis begint vanuit Guatemala-Stad, of vanuit Antigua Guatemala, beide routes zijn schilderachtig en je zult prachtige landschappen kunnen zien op weg naar de Pacifische kust.
Bij onze aankomst op het zwarte zandstrand van Monterrico wacht ons een boot. We maken een boottocht door het mangrovekanaal. Tijdens onze boottocht zullen we de schoonheid van de natuur waarderen, vogels kijken en ambachtelijk vissen beoefenen.
Daarna gaan we naar de dagpas van het hotel voor een heerlijke lunch en de faciliteiten van het hotel, zoals het zwembad. Geniet!
De stad wacht op ons na een autorit van 3 uur vanaf het strand van Monterrico. Leun achterover en ontspan, wij brengen u veilig en wel terug naar uw hotel in Guatemala-Stad of Antigua.

I think this is a new tour & they need to work the kinks out to be worth the price. Some of the issues may have been with the guide they hired (Ruben) - external to their company because they needed the interpreter. First, the mangrove tour was outstanding - truly unique and amazing. That +lunch and the trip would have been worth $300. There was miscommunication btw the company & the guide re: lunch and they would have skipped all the rest if I hadn't pushed. He refused to even visit the turtles (it is in Jan and should have been babies, but even if not been good to see the sanctuary). Beach was only for a few minutes at my insistence, not the hours at the beach and hotel. Ok for me b/c I had dinner plans but fyi if you are thinking of it. Then they took pix of me to use for promo and said they would send to me but then gave me the wrong address. To be clear, the guide was nice, funny, and informative for the most part; issues were with communication w the tour company and forgetfulness. (asked my name 5x in addition to itinerary issues) Driver Carlos was great and helpful as possible. If you pay the full 580 USD make sure to keep an eye on itinerary.
