Dagtocht per speedboot naar Uros en Taquile vanuit Puno

Laat u betoveren door het Titicacameer, leer de drijvende eilanden van de Uros en het eiland Taquile op de beste manier kennen (per speedboot) en met een lokale touroperator met meer dan 10 jaar ervaring. In Uros krijgen we uitleg van de gids en een inwoner van Uros over aspecten van de architectuur, geschiedenis, cultuur, economie en meer; We kunnen ook in een typische boot varen (optioneel). maar ook om het eiland op eigen gelegenheid te verkennen. In Taquile zullen we genieten van het majestueuze uitzicht op het meer en een show van dans en livemuziek door de bewoners. We zullen een heerlijke lokale lunch proeven met uitzicht op het meer. We hebben ook vrije tijd, zodat u het eiland Taquile kunt verkennen. Tijdens de tour zullen we meer ontdekken over de geschiedenis, cultuur, ecologie en tradities van de bevolking van het Titicacameer.

Nadat we onze bezoekers van hun hotels hebben opgehaald, vertrekken we in een comfortabele en snelle boot naar de drijvende eilanden van de Uros, waar we 2 eilanden zullen bezoeken van de meer dan 90 eilanden die deel uitmaken van "The Uros Islands", we zullen hebben een dynamische uitleg door een deel van de gids en een lokale kolonist in de Uros over hoe ze hun eilanden bouwen en alles over hun indrukwekkende cultuur. Daar kunnen we ook een lokale boottocht maken (optioneel). We hebben vrije tijd zodat u het eiland Uros kunt verkennen. Daarna vervolgen we de reis naar het natuurlijke eiland Taquile (1 ½ uur varen).
Na aankomst in Taquile, zullen we een korte wandeling maken naar het bovenste deel van het eiland (ongeveer 30 minuten), van waaruit we de onmetelijkheid van het meer en al zijn pracht kunnen waarderen, we zullen meer leren over zijn textiel , dansen, inwoners en gebruiken. Om vervolgens naar het restaurant met uitzicht op het meer te gaan, waar we een lokale lunch zullen proeven (Quinoa Soep als voorgerecht en Gebakken Forel als achtergrond met een kant van rijst, frites en salade, naast warme infusies. Taquile werd door UNESCO uitgeroepen tot "immaterieel cultureel erfgoed van de mensheid", spinnen en weven worden voornamelijk gedaan door mannen, die deze kunst vanaf 8 jaar beginnen uit te voeren. Met deze stoffen en kleding tonen de inwoners van Taquile hun burgerlijke staat, afhankelijk van de kleuren, maten en gebruikswijze.

Everybody was on time starting a nice lady who met us at hotel. Diane was great. Then a trip to the Port and a start of an 8 hrs tour. The boat was comfortable, the guide knowledgeable, spoke good English. His Spanish was great, too. All visited places were beautiful. Of course, it was all for the tourists, but we liked it. The company is very reliable and communicates well.
The visit to Uros was very interesting to see the life of its inhabitants, and they 'invite' you for 15 soles to take a ride on the lake in a small boat and buy their handicrafts. From there, for me, the rest is unnecessary. They take you to the island of Taquile; it takes 1.5 hours to get there, you climb to the top, eat at a small restaurant (the food is good), and then you come back down, which takes another 1.5 hours. In total, you have wasted 5 hours for nothing of interest.
Taquile. These guys are so professional yet at the same time very personal. I did a full day private boat tour from Casa Andina, fantastic hotel, right on the edge of the lake where they pick you up. Visited lesser tourist, floating islands on the way to Taquile, where we did a great walk from the dock up to a local restaurant. Fantastic guide who explained so much about the lake and about how people live work and survive here. Could not have been a more perfect trip. You really feel immersed in the lake and the local culture. I can’t speak highly enough for them and they can customize whatever kind of tour you want as they did for me.! Everything was perfect; the guide in Spanish and English was very knowledgeable, and the places were very appropriate. The lunch was very delicious, and although drinks are not included, it is very economical and recommended.

The floating islands are something else. Yes it is a little voyeuristic but the inhabbitants need tourism to keep their way of life going. Not sure the visit to the 3rd island adds that much, it is very pretty, has great views etc but to be fair on many levels, altitude aside, you could be on any med island.

Great day trip. Comfortable boat, Manu was a great guide very informative. Lovely visit to the islands id Uros and then on to Taquile island for lunch and a folklore dance followed by an enjoyable walk over the island. Would highly recommended.
