Slechts een uur rijden van de drukke straten van Parijs ligt een prachtige schat te wachten om ontdekt te worden: Fontainebleau. Van François I, Henri IV tot Napoleon III kozen de Franse royalty's het vanwege zijn uitgestrekte bossen, overvloedige wilde dieren en de nabijheid van Parijs. Voor zowel beginners als ervaren ruiters is deze dagtrip vanuit Parijs een meeslepende paardrij-, culturele en gastronomische ervaring die u door het prachtige bos van Fontainebleau en zijn kasteel voert voor een unieke ervaring weg van de stad. Rijd door de verschillende landschappen, geniet van een gastronomische lunch in een Frans gastronomisch restaurant en ontdek het koninklijk landgoed en zijn geheimen: een unieke mix van natuur, gastronomie, luxe en cultuur.

Laat u begroeten door onze chauffeur die u bij uw locatie ophaalt met vers fruit en bakkerijen en u naar het bos van Fontainebleau brengt.
Onze chauffeur brengt u naar de stallen, gelegen in het bos van Fontainebleau. De rijtijd is ongeveer 1u15 en varieert afhankelijk van uw locatie en het verkeer.
Bij het bereiken van de stallen, gelegen in het bos, wordt u verwelkomd door uw rijgids en maakt u kennis met uw paarden (alle paarden zijn erg aardig en worden toegewezen afhankelijk van uw rijniveau). Na een proefrit in de steengroeve begint de rit door de verschillende landschappen van het bos. De rit duurt 1u30. Het bos van Fontainebleau beslaat meer dan 25.000 hectare en claimt met trots de titel van het op één na grootste bos van Frankrijk. Binnen zijn grenzen ligt een uitzonderlijk levend natuurlijk erfgoed, gekenmerkt door een gevarieerd tapijt van landschappen en bosecosystemen.
In het kasteel wordt u verwelkomd door uw lokale gids om de geheimen van het kasteel en de schoonheid van de tuinen te ontdekken. Het kasteel van Fontainebleau heeft een opmerkelijke geschiedenis, waarbij het kasteel sinds de tiende eeuw dienst deed als een van de belangrijkste koninklijke landgoederen van Frankrijk. Oorspronkelijk bekend om de jacht en het leveren van hout voor verwarming, kasteelbouw en kathedraalarchitectuur, werden Fontainebleau en zijn kasteel geleidelijk het gekoesterde jachtlandgoed voor talloze Franse koningen. Van François 1er en Hendrik II tot Hendrik IV, Lodewijk XIII, Lodewijk XIV, Lodewijk XV, Lodewijk XVI en zelfs Napoleon I en Napoleon III in de 19e eeuw, de Franse vorsten kozen Fontainebleau vanwege de uitgestrekte bossen, de overvloedige flora en fauna en, bovenal, alles, de nabijheid van Parijs.
Na een bezoek aan het Château brengt onze chauffeur u terug naar uw locatie in Parijs.

Rita Coordinated everything, ride was on time, horseback riding was amazing with an idyllic lunch at a beautiful In historic village. Afterwards touring the castle was just amazing, truly once in a lifetime! I would highly recommend, it was my first trip to Paris/France and this was the highlight of the week

My family and I had the best time on our IMPERIAL HERITAGE RIDE. Rita was great, it was nice not having to worry about any details. Rita took care of everything. We had a great horseback ride, followed by a really nice lunch and a guided tour of the château, we will be doing more rides with her on future trips around the world!

Decided to surprise my wife with something different this Valentine's Day, and I found this ride in Fontainebleau. I thought it would be the perfect gift as it combines horse-riding - one of her passions with visiting the countryside, and we were actually so happy to escape Paris’ crowds for a day. I could not rate this experience any higher. It totally exceeded all my expectations. The forest was breathtaking, the horses well trained and gentle, the food was delicious. Alice, our riding guide was simply awesome. Arusyak, our Castle guide was also fantastic, she knew everything about French History, Architecture and Royalty, down to the smallest detail.
