very great overall...super bright well explaining tour guide with a wonderful personality!!!
Thank you very much for your review & we hope to see you again.
Sugar Queen was very “energetic” and informative. Make sure you pay attention, or ask her to slow down if needed; she will accommodate, you just need to say something. Think Miami and New York speaker bottled up into one person. She also took us to a place that was cost effective for a silver cartouche; comparatively speaking. Be aware that many places say they are .925 silver, but they are not. Our place was .900 silver BUT at least a store that goes through the government. Forget getting all gold, all the Egyptian stores are not realistic on price. on the price; silver is also over the top but you ‘are paying for a memory’ with Tiffany pricing Sugar Queen will fill you with education on the museum and then allow you to tour and look at your pace; I liked the fact in not having a tour operator “push” you from site to site. I liked spending 3 seconds looking at something, or 5 minutes.; Sugar left it to us.
Thank you very much for your review & we hope to see you again.

If you want a pleasant, very knowledgeable tour guide, Hallah aka Sugar Queen is your guide. She made our tour extra special. We learned so much about Egyptian history and greatly appreciated her passion and enthusiam. We speak only English and had no difficulty understanding her. She structured the tour to our preferences and accommodated all of our needs.

We booked this tour to the NMEC with a request for a quick lunch stop and then to the Coptic Quarter that is relatively nearby. After the NMEC tour (which was good) the guide took us on a long drive to a papyrus store and a relatively expensive ($25 pp) cafe in Giza before returning to the Coptic Quarter. These two stops in Giza were not on the itinerary that we had requested and left a bad taste in our experience.
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience with us. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the visit to the NMEC. Regarding the additional stops, the guide suggested them as optional recommendations during the day to give you a chance to rest, use facilities, and experience local handicrafts and refreshments. These stops are commonly offered to guests but are never mandatory, and you were absolutely free to decline them at any time. We understand, however, that they were not part of the itinerary you originally requested, and we sincerely apologize if this was not clearly communicated or if it affected your overall experience. Your comfort and expectations are very important to us, and we will make sure to brief our guides more carefully to confirm guests’ preferences before adding any optional stops in the future. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
Highly recommend. Amira and Mohammed arrived right on time. Nice clean car. Mohammed navigated us safely through Cairos traffic which takes a lot of skill. The museum is a truly impressive building with an amazing collection of artefacts as well as the remarkable mummies. Amira was very accomodating with an amazing level of knowledge of Egyptian history adding immeasurably to the value of the visit.

Full day of touring starting with the sparkling Egyptian Museum of Civilization. Interesting complex with fascinating exhibits tracing the many varied cultures through the history of Egypt. The mummies were a highlight. Not for the faint of heart or week of stomach, but interesting. Then on to the Museum of Islamic Art. Great. We also visited highlights of Islamic Cairo - two interesting mosques. One for the call to prayer. So fascinating. Finally, a quick run through the Khan el Khallili Market. Colorful. Thanks to our friendly and informative guide Mahmoud/Khalefa and our nerves of steel driver Mohammed.

We scheduled this tour with Egypt Royal Tours for the day we flew into Cairo at 5:30 am. We wanted a relatively short tour to push through the jetlag and this fit the bill. The museum was a bit crowded, as Fridays are a weekend day for Muslims (who knew?), but nonetheless very interesting. The royal mummy display was amazing. After visiting the museum, we were taken to a papyrus store and essential oil store, which we never really asked for. Our group of four bought nothing and we asked to be returned to our hotel. I felt safe with Egypt Royal Tours staff and am happy that we took the tour. It was reasonably priced.

Our first day trip was awesome. Our Amazing tour guide Brother Muhammad lead us to a great-tasting Egyptian falafel with hot drinks as starter. Then driving thru the garbage city going to the Cave Church of St. Simon. Followed by the Alabaster Mosque in Cairo Citadel and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where the real royal mummies are. Tour guide is a must specially Brother Muhammad for being a knowledgeable Egyptologist.
