David saved the day for us! My husband couldn't take another bus tour & we didn't want to sit on a beach for 3 1/2 hours, so literally the night before I contacted him & he threw a toss together, totally personalized for what we wanted to do and when, at the very last minute. There he was on the dock waiting for us, with an excellent driver and off we went. Really enjoyed our time with him, but the highlight was our seafood feast at Làng Ca in Da Nang - we would have never navigate don our own & had a blast picking out our lobster & crab & learning all about the different seafood and fish available, discussing how we wanted it cooked, then enjoying our feast with David! Afterwards, he got us back to our ship on time. He followed up by sending us many "then" and "now" photos of Da Nang when the Americans were here and now - super interesting! Really appreciate him coming through for us so quickly & efficiently.

I have been working with David for over 1 year to organize some private tours while cruising in Vietnam. We’ve booked 4 different excursions; Hue, Halong Bay, Hanoi and Ho Chi Ming and they were all very good, interesting and very ell organized. David was always 1 email away while organising the tours and was very responsive and extremely polite even though we had hundreds of back-and-forth emails. Visiting Vietnam for the first time was a wonderful experience with my family, thanks to David Nguyen, who from the beginning was prompt and patient to reply to all my inquiries, questions , and concerns. He arranged a mini bus for my family which provided comfort and safety. We had cold water and wet face towels to freshen us up. We stopped for oysters which my family enjoyed. David's restaurant and lunch menu choice was delicious! Though it was a drizzly day, we all had fun in all the sites David took us to. His friendly and kind demeanor made it all worthwhile. He is considerate and accommodating. I highly recommend their services! More power to Vietnam Shore Excursions!!

My husband and I did a 1.5 day tour with David. We were in Vietnam to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was a truly great experience!!! David was very communicative, explained in detail the options for each experience, explained his pricing (which isn’t low end but not super pricey either). He arranged EVERYTHING from pick up at Da Nang airport via SUV to private tours of Marble Mountain, Ba Na Hills/the Golden bridge, Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Bay where we had the most delicious lunch at a local family owned restaurant, drove through a rice paddy and swam in one of the waterfalls/ springs. We were meant to go to Elephant Springs but it was closed when we got there, yet last minute David was able to detour to an alternative smaller but also fun spring. I wholeheartedly recommend David for any of your tours in central Vietnam. It was a real gem having him chaperone us for 1.5 days after which we took our own time to explore Hoi An via foot/bicycle ourselves. I spent a lot of time looking around various tour options - he’s worth it!

We actually used Vietnam Excursions for 3 different ports in Vietnam. In Da Nang we had the company owner as our guide and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and took us to some beautiful places!
