We beginnen met een schilderachtige rit langs de kust van Da Nang, langs prachtige stranden en genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht vanaf hangbruggen met uitzicht op de Han-rivier en de stad Da Nang, inclusief de iconische Dragon Bridge & Love Bridge. Vervolgens reizen we over de legendarische Hai Van Pass, Vietnam's speciale kustweg, te zien op BBC's Top Gear. Ervaar kronkelende wegen, een adembenemend uitzicht op de oude Leprakolonie, weelderige bergen en het serene uitzicht op Lang Co Bay vanaf het treinspoor. Vervolgens verkennen we Lap An Lagoon, maken foto’s van oesterkwekerijen en huizen op palen. Daarna keren we terug naar Hai Van voor verschillende perspectieven op Da Nang en bewonderen we het uitzicht op deze prachtige stad voordat we afzetten. Vanuit je hotel in Hoi An of Da Nang neemt de lokale gids en chauffeur je mee op een prachtige rit langs de kust naar de Hai Van-pas, de mooiste kustweg van Vietnam, die te zien is in BBC's Top Gear-show en een must-see is als je naar Da Nang. Kronkelende bergwegen nodigen reizigers uit om haarspeldbochten te ervaren en te genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht op bergketens met witte zandstranden en de Lang Co-baai eronder. Deze strategische locatie van het leger creëert een unieke indruk die nergens anders in Vietnam te vinden is. We zullen onderweg voldoende stops maken om geweldige foto's te maken.
Deze reis kan niet perfect zijn zonder een tussenstop in Lang Co Bay, dat tussen de steden Danang en Hue aan de centrale kust ligt om een aantal mooie foto's te maken en de bergtrein te zien. Het lange witte zandstrand met blauw zeewater van Lang Co kan op het eerste gezicht het hart van elke bezoeker veroveren.
Lap An Lagoon staat ook bekend als Blue Lagoon, een 800 hectare groot brakwatergebied met fascinerende oesterkwekerijen en huizen op palen van lokale vissers. We rijden rond de lagune om te genieten van de prachtige natuur in deze regio. Na dit geweldige avontuur rijden we terug naar je hotel.

Carol was an excellent tour guide. Very friendly. Was able answer our questions about this tour . I would describe this tour as Very beautiful and excellent . The military jeep made this tour so cool.
This really is a must do trip ! From start to finish everything is so well done. We were met by a transfer driver and English speaking guide (Carol) who was so helpful and informative, her English was excellent. Once we were the other side of Da Nang we picked up the jeep and another driver with our guide. Again, he was such a careful driver, the ride and views are breathtaking, you also get to stop at the top for a coffee break and photos. Once down the Hai Van Pass, you get to see the oyster farms at the Lap An lagoon, go for a freshing swim in a nearby freshwater pool, and then onto Lang Co beach for an amazing seafood meal on the beach. After all that it's back over the Pass again by jeep, before going back to the hotel One of the best trips I've ever done, and the meal was delicious! Do this trip !! I highly recommend it.
We were not interested in going all the way to Hue so this was a good option to see Hai Van pass and the surrounding area. It also provides more insight than you would get if you were simply passing through by train.
Our tour guide Lanh was very friendly and we had a good time! Will definitely recommend this tour. The views were amazing too! The ride was very comfortable and we passed by a lot of scenic spots
We had a fantastic tour with Chicky. He was an excellent guide, with an incredible breadth of information on all things Vietnam. The scenery was stunning and, as we traversed Hai Van Pass, it truly felt like we were amongst the clouds. Highly recommend this tour!
The drive with the jeep on the Hai Van Pass was beautiful. The scenery was beautiful. Brian our tour guide was very friendly and made sure we got some lovely photos at each stop. Highly recommend
It was an AWESOME experience. We were very blessed with John as our guide. He is very articulate in English. Not only the tour was v informative, he was also very good in taking photos and making sure that all our needs were met. Touring the hai van pass in the jeep was a memorable experience & the view is breathtaking. I would highly recomend this tour especially with John as the guide.
Met by courteous host Lahn and a driver on time. Journey to the Jeep was informative as we went, all questions answered and very good English.x Once into the Jeep a 1975 Old style military vehicle we won our way up the pass, no windows on the Jeep so perfect views and feeling of the road which gave the authentic good ride feeling. Wind in our hair we went up the winding road with fantastic views every way you looked. Plenty of photo opportunities offered. Once at the top a chance to understand the history of the pass then a wonderful descent down along the shoreline passing the pearl farms. More scenic pictures and the chance to see pearl production information before heading back home. Overall great tour with an excellent guide....would do it again.
We had a terrific tour of the Hai Van Pass. We were picked up from our hotel in Hoi An by our tour guide Pang for the journey to the most spectacular stretch of winding road . The road overlooked the bay on one side and beautiful greenery of the mountains on the other. We were treated to a visit to an oyster farm at the Blue Lagoon . We saw how a family farmed for oysters . From there we drove to Lang Co Bay to see the most tranquil waters with the mountains as a stunning backdrop. I would highly recommend Local Buddy Tours . Pang was so knowledgeable and friendly and shared so much of his experiences with us . We are also grateful to our driver who drove so safely and professionally .
Local Buddy Tours led by Mr Thanh really delivered above expectations. We started with only a day tour but because Mr Thanh was (not pushy but) extremely helpful (eg suggesting places etc but never was to sell his own tour) and professional, we decided to block a few 4 day tour programme with him. We gave him some thoughts about where we were interested and he/and his team built an entire itenary for us in Danang. To top it off, Local Buddy Tours works with the underprivileged and we were very happy to spend a day making coffee and later at a local cafe run in support of those with more needs than us. To top it off, very fairly priced, guides are great (English speaking) and even our driver was super accommodating. We will definitely tour with Mr Thanh, Mr Ben and Ms Carol again!
