Bezoek de wijnmakerij d'Arenberg in McLaren Vale voor de Blending Bench, een praktische ervaring waarbij je wijnmaker kunt spelen. Aan de hand van drie vatmonsters van de premium shiraz van d'Arenberg kunt u een eigen wijn creëren en een sample van 750 mililiter bottelen om mee naar huis te nemen.

Kom aan bij de wijnmakerij d'Arenberg voor uw Blending Bench-ervaring, waar een palet van wijnpakketten, elk met onderscheidende smaken en texturen, op uw menging wacht op zoek naar balans, volheid en finesse. Het fysieke werk is al voor je gedaan - plukken, pletten, fermenteren, voettrappen, mandpersen en vatrijping. Je maakt een wijn die echt uniek is en vervolgens fles, benoem en label een monster van 750 ml om mee naar huis te nemen en aan je vrienden te laten zien. Na je mengsessie kun je aanschuiven voor een 8-gangen degustatie in d’Arry's Verandah Restaurant, met uitzicht op de glooiende heuvels van McLaren Vale. Een eerbetoon, zo u wilt, aan het oude gezegde "variëteit is het kruid van het leven". Deze maaltijd is een uitzonderlijke manier om uw d'Arenberg-ervaring te beëindigen. Richard and the staff made our first trip to Adelaide extra special 🙏 lunch at the d'Arry's Verandah Restaurant is top tier, the food was nothing less than spectacular, every dish was perfectly cooked and presented the price is great value and the wine pairings (we had 4 bottles between 6 ppl) couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend heading here for at least a half day 3 hours wasn’t enough to fit lunch and a tasting so we will be back for the cellar door next visit. Looking forward to actually getting inside the cube! The lunch was so great we just couldn’t think to leave to squeeze it in. Thank you 🙏

We visited in January 2026 as a party of five, meeting the $200+ per person minimum for the Blending Bench and degustation with wine pairing. At this price point, one reasonably expects a polished and well-managed experience. The food itself was excellent — the tasting trays were genuinely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Unfortunately, this was entirely undermined by the service. A neighbouring table, who arrived after us, was served entrées, mains and dessert while we were still waiting on our mains. The disparity in pacing and attention was stark and difficult to overlook. Good food cannot compensate for poor service, particularly in a setting that markets itself as premium. The trays were impressive; the service, regrettably, was not. Make of that what you will.

We are, however, most disheartened that our warm and well-paced service did not meet your expectations. Our degustation menu is designed to be presented in a leisurely manner so guests may fully enjoy the many flavours and textures of each dish. We are always happy to adjust the pace if guests indicate a preference. During your visit, your party had enjoyed canapés, an amuse-bouche, two starter courses, and a sorbet — five courses in total — and were awaiting your sixth. What an amazing day we had. We started off with the blending bench experience, which was both fun and educational and we each got to take a bottle of wine home we blended ourselves, so special. The degustation lunch and wine pairing was amazing, beautiful food and beautiful wine to compliment it perfectly. We then finished off with a wine tasting experience which was also just fantastic. Staff were so friendly, informative and very welcoming, the location was magic, even with wet weather outside the views were spectacular from inside. Would recommend this to anyone.

Fabulous experience, loved exploring the cube, wine tasting on the 4th floor was fantastic with amazing views. We then went to the verandah for the degustation lunch, this was an amazing meal abd the flavours, service and views all outstanding. I can highly recommend, but to get the best experience I suggest booking well in advance.

Very unique place, combining wine, art paintings, sculptures made this place absolutely fabulous! Even the toilets were unlike anything else, simply beautiful!

The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Top wines in the McLaren Vale. Good Lunch but may be overpriced. Definitely cheaper than some of the other wineries.we enjoyed the day trip. You must visit the ground floor visual Show.

This is a seriously different approach to wineries. Interesting tasting, interesting restaurants and food. The building is quirky, exhibitions interesting with the whole place themed as eccentric. Great afternoon but keep your wallet topped up.

A bit of a circus, we made sure to be first in line in the morning and therefore got more attention. This vinery simply attracts a b bigger audience than it can comfortably entertain. The draw is the spectacular building and the rather mixed art, some of which is quite good, and some massproduced.

OMG the food was amazing. We learnt a lot about the wine and made a nice drop to take home. The cube is great to look around plenty to see especially if your into art.
