Cypriotische Tradities en Ezelavonturen
Beschrijving
Bezoekers hebben de mogelijkheid om te zien hoe de traditionele Cypriotische kaas, halloumi en olijventaart worden gemaakt, gevolgd door een rondleiding door de boerderij om een van de oudste olijfbomen in de Middellandse Zee te zien en meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis en kenmerken van ezels. De tour eindigt met een proeverij van de producten van de boerderij, waaronder ezelinnenmelk en huidverzorgingsproducten, evenals biologische olijfolie. Het laatste deel van de excursie bestaat uit een maaltijd, veel wijn en levendig amusement met Cypriotische dansen en muziek.

• Aankomst op de boerderij “Gouden ezels” om 17.00 uur • We beginnen met Halloumi liveshow. Onze chef-kok zal het hele proces van het maken van deze traditionele kaas laten zien • Tussen het begin en het einde van het kaasbereidingsproces maken we traditioneel olijvenbrood 30-40 min (tijdens de masterclass, tekenen voor kinderen) • Boerderijrondleiding 30 minuten. Toeristen kunnen een wassenbeeldenmuseum, een traditioneel Cypriotisch huis, ons pluimvee, geiten en natuurlijk ezels zien. • Korte ezelrit (10 min) • Proeverij van boerderijproducten en ezelinnenmelkproducten 30 minuten • Diner om 19:00 Traditioneel buffet (voorgerechten, salades, bulgur, dorpspasta en kaas, gebakken aardappelen met oregano en olijfolie, lamsvlees, varkensvlees, kip, wijn, water, sap voor kinderen) • Cypriotische avond om 19.30 uur. Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Let op, de starttijd en de ophaaltijd zijn niet hetzelfde. Ophalen begint om 15:00 in Protaras, 15:20 in Ayia Napa en 15:45 in Larnaca en omgeving. Pick-up van Limassol is op aanvraag. U wordt 1-2 dagen voorafgaand aan de activiteit geïnformeerd over de exacte ophaaltijd. Het ontmoetingspunt op loopafstand kan worden toegewezen.

So authentic and fun! You can see the passion of the owners and the pride they take in their work. A must see!
This was an absolutely fantastic tour packed with history, activities, food, entertainment, and, of course, donkeys. I enjoyed trying the different donkey milk products and hanging out with the donkeys. They're such friendly and adorable creatures. In the evening, there was a delicious buffet topped with dancing, music, and traditional Greek Cypriot entertainment. Had an absolutely brilliant time! I highly recommend this tour and would do it again myself!
This is one of those activities that delivers far more than you can imagine. Not only are the owner and staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but they help create a real party atmosphere (even though you learn a lot about donkeys and olive oil creation, as well as making Halloumi and Olive Pies) for your enjoyment. You will be surrounded by fellow guests from at least a dozen countries, and you will all dance as one (and shout “Opa” many, many times. The donkey milk products you will sample are fantastic. The homemade Halloumi is a real joy of deliciousness. The dinner and entertainment will leave you far more than satisfied. You will leave this place with a smile on your face and a song on your lips. Be sure to take a donkey ride to earn your “International Donkey Driving License “.

This experience absolutely exceeded all expectations and was the highlight of our holiday! Meeting point was given in advance and transport was already there waiting by the time we arrived. Good communication from tour provider following booking. Experience was fantastic, all activities listed in description took place. Food and drink was all you can eat/drink while you were there. Entertainment of dancing and singing was the best bit! Be prepared to get fully involved! I was travelling with a disabled companion and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure she was included throughout. Looking forward to coming again in the future!
