Custom Island Adventure Tours

This private tour with Elf was relaxing and delightful. She showed us the most beautiful sites. Explored historical sites and trails off the beaten path. Stopped at a delicious roadside stand for lunch, banana bread, macadamia nuts and coffee. We swam at one of her favorite beaches that was not crowded at all. We had engaging conversations about HI, history and life. It was a zenful experience and I'd do it again!

Elf will take you wherever you want to go on the island, and share all of her wonderful information about the island. We had very limited time, but she was able to take us to a wonderful snorkeling stop, food trucks, Dole Plantation, Bydo in Temple, and when I Mentioned I was interested in getting some Kona coffee, she took us to Green World coffee farms, which happened to be on the way to Dole Plantation. Do NOT hesitate to book with her-you’ll be glad you did!🤓

This was the most amazing experience ever! Our tour guide (elf) was the best and had so much experience! She met all of our needs and was so much fun! Definitely worth going with this activity!! The best!!

Had an awesome day getting to know the island better with Elfi guiding. Gave her things we were interested in and she accommodated and adapted along the way, all the way to the end. We were able to both get a taste of the island and snorkel off shark's cove, which was great (so long as weather is calm). If you're looking for a taste of the real Oahu, highly recommend spending the day on this tour. Mahalo, Elfi!

Had an amazing day, we got to see absolutely stunning sights without the hassle of driving. We learned so much about this amazing island, we absolutely would recommend Elf to show you around, especially if you don't want the hassle of driving and finding parking.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Elf as a tour guide. We have travelled extensively and participated in a large number of tours both group and privately. She was silent for the majority of the entire tour And would drop us off at the various stops without explaining where to go or what it was that we were seeing. We ended up wandering around looking for whatever it is that we were supposed to find (blowhole, lookout, temple). She would respond to a specific question but generally with impatience and on several occasions provided incorrect information and on one of the questions told me to look it up via Google. The stops that she chose to take us to were poorly planned and not at all a good use of our time. She spent almost an hour and a half taking us to the wrong food trucks while refusing to accommodate a request to stop and walk a bit in the park. She absolutely refused to accommodate our requests. We sent a list of things we would like to see and do prior to getting together, which we had compiled by looking at some of the similar group tours that were available in the area. She arbitrarily put some of those things on her tour but neglected to make any reservations or let us know that reservations needed to be made so we were unable to stop and do some of the things that we should’ve been able to do. She was generally very negative and complained a lot, Specifically that she had a sinus infection from the poor air quality and that the Chinese had bought up all the mom and pop storefronts in Waikīkī and put in the luxury stores in addition to many other negative comments generally. The major disappointment was that she absolutely provided no information or the information that she provided was incorrect. I had asked if she could provide some information about the history of the island, She responded “that It was identical to the colonisation of the United States”. This is absolutely untrue. When we asked about the story behind the Byoda Temple she sighed and then stated “ It’s a replica of a 200-year-old Japanese temple, don’t know when it was built- it is not a working Buddhist temple anyway” . Also untrue. Basically, she drove in silence and only answered any questions sullenly or with annoyance. It was the most uncomfortable and stressful tour I’ve ever taken.

Having a private driver is the way to go, we got to see things at our pace and got to see things that we wouldn’t have if we had gone the bus route, it was much less touristy

We appreciate Erin taking us to beautiful places as she's very familiar with the city and culture. She knows Oahu like the back of her hand.

This was our second time touring the island with Elf. The weather didn’t hinder our experience at all and we were able to take in some authentic Hawaiian sights and food. Elf is great company, knowledgeable about the island and its customs and I would recommend her to anyone visiting the island. If you want to see the best of the island with an amazing guide that is tailored to your needs and interests then Elf is your person. We enjoyed our day with you Elf and we will be back.
