Cusco Photo Day Tour

De Cusco-fotodagtocht is de enige die je meeneemt naar de toeristische en onaangename plaatsen van de Inca-hoofdstad. Bezoek onbekende Inca-straten, traditionele markten, catacomben onder een klooster en typische lokale plaatsen die nog niet zijn ontdekt door het massatoerisme. Ontvang fotografie tips uit je fotografie gids, het maakt niet uit of je een telefoon of camera gebruikt en geniet van de echte Cusco vanuit een ander perspectief.

We beginnen de ochtend om 09.30 uur. We ontmoeten elkaar op het hoofdplein, Plaza de Armas buiten Mcdonalds. We gaan naar Santa Ana en ontbijten om 10:00 uur snel in UMA Café. Na het ontbijt gaan we de straat op voor een prachtig uniek perspectief vanuit de boog van Santa Ana. Deze oude boog heeft een uitkijkpunt om de stad te fotograferen en bijna niemand weet dat je daadwerkelijk naar de top kunt gaan! We gaan naar de markt van San Pedro rond 10.30 uur. De San Pedro-markt, ook bekend als de Centrale Markt (Mercado Central), is een van de meest traditionele en klassieke plekken om te fotograferen in Cusco. Gebouwd door de beroemde Gustave Eiffel in 1925, concentreert deze locatie de lokale Quechua-bewoners en is meestal drukker en aantrekkelijker in de ochtend. Het betreden van deze markt is een andere ervaring. Je vindt er alles, van vers fruit en groenten, natuurlijke medicijnen, mensen die een maaltijd naast koeienkoppen te koop hebben, veel ambachten en een hele wereld van Quechua-invloeden en verbazingwekkende kleuren. Om 12:00 uur gaan we naar Plaza San Francisco en bezoeken we de kerk, het klooster en de catacomben van San Francisco de Assis. De kerk van San Francisco is een van de oudste en meest vergeten wonderen van de stad. We zullen dit klooster / kerk bezoeken en de geschiedenis en architectuur ervan verkennen. We zullen de ondergrondse catacomben, de kerk, het koorgebied met geweldige bewerkte cederstoelen en een van de hoogtepunten verkennen - de Bell Tower, waar u kunt genieten van een indrukwekkend uitzicht over de stad. We zullen ook het buitenterras bezoeken, ontworpen met buitengewone details in de Spaanse koloniale stijl. Om 13.00 uur is er een verplichte stop op het centrale plein (Plaza de Armas). Er is geen ontkomen aan het hoofdplein. Het concentreert zoveel geschiedenis over het Inca-rijk! Verken dit gebied met een meer fotografische aanpak, maar leer ook een beetje over de geschiedenis van Cusco. Daarna verhuizen we naar de wijk San Blas en houden we onze lunchstop in San Blas Market. De lunch is snel en eenvoudig maar heerlijk. Een gezond lokaal broodje naar keuze en vers fruitsap. De markt van San Blas staat bekend om een alternatieve sfeer, gezonde voedingsopties en weinig toeristen. Rond 14:00 gaan we de markt uit en verkennen de San Blas-buurt. De oudste en mooiste wijk in Cusco. Bekend als de locatie waar alle artiesten in de stad wonen. Dit gebied heeft een aantal verborgen juweellocaties die zorgen voor verbazingwekkende straatfotografie en niet veel mensen kennen ze. We nemen je mee langs een aantal verplichte haltes, zoals de "Mirador de San Blas", waar je een geweldig overzicht van de stad hebt. Rond 15.00 uur hebben we de optie om ofwel een lokale, traditionele Chicheria te bezoeken, waar de chicha wordt geserveerd die is gemaakt van gefermenteerde maïs, dit is een zeer lokale plek en een perfecte manier om wat van de echte lokale cultuur te ervaren, als dit niet het geval is neem je fantasie we hebben de optie om een lokale bar te bezoeken met het beste uitzicht in Cusco, hier kunnen we ontspannen en een pisco sour drinken terwijl je uitkijkt over de hele stad, je hebt het verdiend! Ook erg belangrijk over deze tour: Cusco's dynamische veranderingen dagelijks! Dus sommige locaties in de straten zijn niet elke dag geopend! We laten dit als een verrassing omdat het niet is gegarandeerd. Maar we komen altijd langs de plaatsen en als ze open zijn, gaan we naar binnen om je enkele verborgen juweeltjes van Cusco te laten zien! Duimen!

This is a great tour to take if you want to hone your photography skills and get to see different sides of Cusco. Noe is a great guide and a great photographer who will show you some great spots around Cusco, and at the same time give you pointers and tips. He is also easy to converse with and flexible with the plan based on how the day is going or your wishes.

I have written hundreds of reviews and believe in the power of feedback; I hope my review is helpful. We met up with our guide, Noe, in the lobby of our hotel. Noe was excellent from A to Z. He took us to some less touristy spots as well as some of the normal spots and helped us capture memorable pics. Noe is a local and helped us understand some of the history, culture and even foods the locals eat. This was our first full day in Cusco and it was a great way to orient us to the city. We even asked Noe to take us to a non-touristy, locals-only restaurant for lunch and that was very memorable and gave us an insight into everyday life for locals. I highly recommend this tour especially for those who want to make sure they come away with some great pics and memories. Bravo, Noe. ¡Gracias!

I recently did this tour with Dan. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend it. I was picked up from my hotel on time, went to the outskirts of the city, near the Christ statue, and then slowly walked down into the city. Dan knew all the best areas for picture taking, and provided excellent advise for camera angles, settings, perspectives. I used a DSLR camera as well as iphone.

I started off with a day tour with friends around Lima with Dan and had a lot of opportunities for awesome photos of wonderful vistas of Lima, and got some great photo tips :) Then I spent 4 days with Noe on photo tours based out of Cusco. We started with the Alternate Rainbow Mountain, which was amazing! Then we continued with getting outside the city and seeing some amazing landscapes and learning more about landscape photography. My favorite day was when we went to visit a local family up in the mountains and learned about portrait photography. Bernardino cooked us a wonderful lunch and his family was so welcoming! My favorite moment was when we all piled into the van and drove up to a scenic spot overlooking a lake, and we all just sat there and enjoyed each other’s company :) Bernardino’s son even let me try to play his recorder lol Noe is a great photographer and guide and was so patient with my friend and I, and by the end of the 4 days he had both of us shooting in manual..that’s quite a feat! I highly recommend Andean Photo Expeditions and would love to go back and take some more tours with them, especially to the Amazon!
