Deze fantastische tour van een halve dag neemt je mee langs alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden van Cusco. Inclusief bezoeken aan de Tempel van de Zon (Qoricancha) en de verschillende Inca-locaties buiten de stad, krijg je een ongelooflijke mix van Inca en Spaanse stijl te zien en in het geval van Qoricancha, de twee gecombineerd. Cusco is echt een fascinerende plek om te bezoeken; door een mix van de twee culturen (Inca en Spaans) heeft de stad een look en feel die totaal anders is dan de rest van Peru. Deze tour is een must als je Cusco bezoekt en is meestal een van de eerste bezoeken voor alle bezoekende toeristen.

De Coricancha was de belangrijkste tempel voor de Inca's. Dat was de perfectie van de muren die zelfs Machu Picchu overtreffen. Momenteel is de tempel een van de belangrijkste toeristische attracties van de stad Cuzco.
Sacsayhuamán is een van de meest verbazingwekkende gebouwen ter wereld. Men denkt dat het begon te worden gebouwd tijdens de regering van Inca Pachacutec in eeuw XV. Er wordt aangenomen dat meer dan 20 duizend mannen de stenen uit de nabijgelegen steengroeven haalden en het 20 kilometer naar de heuvel van de stad Cusco verplaatsten. Tegenwoordig wordt geschat dat Sacsayhuaman slechts 40 procent van zijn oude structuur behoudt. Toch heeft de site structuren tot 125 ton gewicht. Hoe de Inca's Sacsayhuaman bouwden met structuren van een onwaarschijnlijk gewicht en grootte voor die tijd? Veel vragen zijn nog steeds een mysterie. Daar ligt de schoonheid van deze archeologische vindplaats.
De Quechua-naam Qenqo betekent labyrint. In het wereldbeeld van de Andes-cultuur werd deze plek gebouwd om een beroep te doen op Kaypacha, de legendarische slang die tot leven leidt. De Inca's gebruikten deze plek als een brug om te communiceren met anderen van hun goden zoals de zon, de aarde, de bergen, de maan en de sterren. Alles op deze plek heeft een speciale mystiek, het amfitheater, de doolhoven, de grachten en de offerkamer.
Puka Pukara herbergt omheiningen zoals binnenpleinen, kanalen, aquaducten, baden en een bekende oude weg, die deel had moeten uitmaken van het netwerk van Inca-wegen bekend als Qhapaq Ñan; De gebouwen zijn gebouwd met rotsen van verschillende grootte (klein en medium). Puca Pucara presenteert het oppervlak van de rotsen erg ongelijk in vergelijking met andere archeologische vindplaatsen.
Het archeologische complex van Tambomachay staat ook bekend als de Baños de Inca en is een van de belangrijkste Inca-gebouwen; Dit komt door de grote beheersing en het ongelooflijke werk met de stenen die de muren vormen. Het heeft een verbazingwekkend ondergronds hydraulisch systeem, en dit is heel eenvoudig uit te leggen, de Inca-beschaving vereerde het water als een levengevende godheid.

It was a very nice experience. Knowing about Peruvian culture is very enriching. Our guide Justino always attentive and very understanding with those who had some difficulty in the other tours.

The views and landscapes I saw during the trip were wonderful and worth the early mornings we had. The food is good, but you are used to the seasoning of your country. I recommend visiting the LA CHICHA restaurant. The food there is delicious, but it is by reservation. On our tour we had two very good guides who cared about us and that we were well (both for Health, height and one's comfort) “Frank and Johan” clearly rave it up with more photos and videos… We also had A colleague “Persi” was the one who drove the city to take us and pick us up. Persi “always returned us safe and sound.” The hotel we stayed in #AyniCusco was very clean and welcoming. The hotel managers were always very friendly and attentive. In the 6 days we were in Peru we managed to make friends. We are already waiting for the next trip for our reunion🫶 The truth is that I highly recommend: #INKAYNIPERU and #LOCALADVENTURES.
