Curacao Food Tour bij 3 soorten restaurants waar de lokale bevolking van geniet

This was so much fun being able to experience such great tasting food! This tour costs $250 and was worth every cent. Karina was our food conossoir and she delivered every step of the way! This was a 3-hour food tour experience that everyone must try. We went to three different restaurants with three different atmosphere vibes. The first restaurant, Zol, had live music as we enjoyed two appetizers, which were the size of males, and a native lemon juice. These three items fill this up and we were only at the first restaurant. The tacos of the day were delicious! And they did not have any heavy breading which allowed me to eat them all. My wife had me the beef rib chips Boulder mashed potatoes with a special oil that topped the cake. The second restaurant, Sunflower, was an excellent fusion of Chinese food. The all meat fried rice had a very refreshing taste in the potatoes were fried to perfection. The third restaurant was a very unique experience because it was a food truck inside of a building, which I have never experienced before. We made our own fries basket topped with meat and different sauces to step up the flavor. Aunt made our own mojito with a barista on staff to support us with making them. The food here was amazing as well with flavor in every bite! What I enjoyed most about this experience is it was my wife and I along with the tour guide and each of the restaurants were not crowded with people. We also have the opportunity to interact with the owners of each of these restaurants and will definitely visit all three the next time we are on the island. We would also go on another food excursion because it really opened up our eyes to see other things around the island instead of what we knew which was the food on the resort. The best thing about it is this food tour is open to all ages as they cater to all needs. I remember when I mentioned I was allergic to seafood and they made sure we stayed away from anything we shared collectively together that required eating seafood. This was a great experience. I will definitely do again!

Karina picked us up from our resort and was super professional. She asked us about us and vice versa. Once we made the first stop, it was a very fancy restaurant and she explained the concept, then let us eat and enjoy. After the first stop is when the fun and true culture came. Karina took us to a Chinese restaurant that was excellent. We spent time chatting about all of the things in down town. The local vendors, the foods we should be looking for. Karina also shared a lot of her heart and love for the island with us. It made us really connect and enjoy the experience. The third stop was where we really really connected and we got to sit down and just talk and joke and she shared stories with us. It was a lovely experience. I could not have asked for a better 4 hours with a person. She taught us soooooo much in that short period, but we also shared a lot of cultural connnections as well. If you visit curacao, and do nothing else, this is what you should do. There’s so much vibrancy you get from this experience, I could not recommend it enough.

The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The first stop was spectacular. The second a Chinese restaurant was forgettable, and the 3rd an indoor food truck was interesting, but not great. We have been on other food tours around the world and this one was on the lower end.

The cost was not worth the food selection. The host made up for it with her knowledge of the island. Thought the first stop was good but then it went downhill. It was supposed to be the 3 best restaurants, didn't feel like that.

Our excursion was truly unforgettable, thanks to our incredible tour guide, Karina. Her knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm in showcasing the beauty of Curaçao made all the difference for my wife and I. If you’re considering this excursion, I highly recommend requesting Karina. We would love to visit again!

The restaurant we when to was fantastic. Our guide equally wonderful in every reflection of grace and hospitality. We definitely recommend this for visitors in a group. We are group of 4 men and we each feel it was a great experience.

We had an amazing tour guide named karina who took great care of us. She was very knowledgeable about the area. The food selection was great as well.

It was easy to communicate with the tour operator prior to the tour. The guide was friendly. But we ate Chinese food and the food truck food was fries and meet. We are always doing food tour when we travel and this is to discover and learn the food of the country we are visiting. I can get that Chinese food back home.
