We beginnen bij Fort Amsterdam, passeren de beroemde Koningin Emma pontonbrug en rijden vervolgens langs de beroemde en kleurrijke "Handelskade". Als u de Koningin Wilhelminabrug oversteekt, gaat uw trolleytrein verder naar Scharloo, een voormalige woonwijk met pittoreske villa's die in het laatste deel van de 19e eeuw zijn gebouwd. Je stopt voor een foto bij Bolo di Batrei, bekend als het bruidstaarthuis, omdat het het meest gefotografeerde gebouw van de stad is. Daarna gaan we langs de Pietermaai-kathedraal, het grootste en meest indrukwekkende religieuze gebouw op het eiland. Daarna gaan we naar het Koningin Wilhelminapark. We rijden langs de Waterfort Arches, een imposant fort waar vroeger de Willem III-kazerne stond. De tour wordt afgesloten met een bezoek aan Fort Amsterdam.

Begin je rit met de trolleytrein bij het oudste fort en leer alles over de geschiedenis van Curaçao.
Een voormalige woonwijk met pittoreske huizen uit de 19e eeuw. Een hoogtepunt van je Scharloo-overzicht is een stop bij het 'bruidstaarthuis', een van de meest gefotografeerde gebouwen van de stad.
Bezoek de Pietermaai-kathedraal (indien open voor publiek en er is geen mis)
Dit is de perfecte gelegenheid voor een vakantiefoto bij het beroemde bord Dushi Curacao.
Rijd langs dit imposante fort dat de locatie was van de Willhem III-kazerne. De tour eindigt met een bezoek aan Fort Amsterdam, gebouwd in 1635 om de vitale toegang tot de haven te bewaken tegen vijandelijke schepen.

We were seated in the 2nd train car and after starting out on the tour everyone was complaining that we couldn't hear. Stopped near the pretty steps for pictures and they tried to fix the speaker but it wouldn't work. Then sat there longer and longer, no communication. Some people left and walked back. The driver then said they were bringing someone to help. Another employee got on and rode in the 2nd car and narrated the tour but she was still hard to hear and understand with her dialect. We made another 10 minute stop in the downtown and then finished the tour. Not worth the $25 per person we paid.

Tourguide Su was excellent and a good singer too. A lot of information and attention for the guests. Also driver reacted very good when due to a party the road was blocked. Great tour in the historical centre.

Viator changed the time of this. tour from the morning to 6pm in the evening AFTER our cruise ship was to leave. We cancelled the tour on the basis of their guarantee and despite 3 email to confirm this they still charged us for the trip. Still trying to get our money back. Even more annoying given we booked another Viator trip in the morning which we went on. Would seriously question using them again the cancelation guarantee is not what it claims to be

I did this tour as an excursion thru a cruise. It goes slow enough so that you can take plenty of pictures. The guide is very knowledgeable. It is not air conditioned, but open air - there is a roof, so you are not completely in the sun. Go early morning or later afternoon rather than high noon. Pick up was right outside the ship. Drop off was next to the pontoon bridge, if you wanted to walk and shop OR right outside the ship

Our guide was very knowledgeable and I got to learn about a part of the history of Curaçao in a pink trolley. What else can I ask for? Not a long tour, but long enough to enjoy a beautiful part of Punda.
Nice tour. Not excessively long. Very friendly Dutch speaking guide. You get a lot of explanations about the capital and its buildings.

It could have been great but our tour guide kept repeating the same information over and over. "This house is now a business"... So boring. Only got enthusiastic at the end when she spoke about the female governor. Surely an island that gas been populated for that long gas some interesting history? The houses were beautiful. If we visit again just going to do our own thing.
