De volgende stop is bij het strand van Piskado, dit is een mooi lokaal strand waar vissers zeeschildpadden voeren en iedereen de kans geeft om met ze te zwemmen. Dit strand heeft ook een tent waar je snorkelspullen kunt huren, een kopje koffie kunt drinken of kunt brunchen
Na de lunch maken we een stop bij Knip strand, dit is een tropisch strand met wit zand wuivende palmbomen ook wel bekend als een goede plek voor cliff jumping en zelfs vanaf de parkeerplaats kun je al genieten van het uitzicht op het mooiste authentieke turquoise zeewater strand van Curaçao.
Onze laatste stop is bij het Jan Kok-zoutmeer, waar de gids met de groep rondloopt om foto's te maken van het natuurlijke uitzicht op de nationale bomen van cactussen en als we geluk hebben, kunnen we flamingo's in hun natuurlijke habitat zien.
Dit uitkijkpunt biedt een van de meest adembenemende panorama's van Curaçao. Vanaf dit uitkijkpunt kunnen gasten genieten van een weids uitzicht op het kalme turquoise water van Santa Martha Bay, omlijst door weelderige, glooiende heuvels en ruige kustkliffen. Hotelgasten Ontmoetingspunt is in de lobby van uw hotel. Zorg ervoor dat je uiterlijk 15 minuten voor de vertrektijd op de aangewezen vertreklocatie bent Ophaaltijden zijn onderhevig aan verandering en worden de dag voor de tour bevestigd. U moet bereikbaar blijven en berichten in de gaten houden voor updates, vooral voor last-minute boekingen Cruise schepen Cruise Cruiseschepen leggen aan bij 3 pieren in Curacao. Als u aangemeerd bent bij de Mega Pier 1 : Bij het ontschepen, ga dan naar de witte tenten, waar u het online reservering teken vindt. Dit is ongeveer 5 minuten lopen van het schip. Als u aangemeerd bent bij de Mega Pier 2 Tula : Bij het ontschepen wordt u naar de pier naast de deur geleid, Mega Pier 1. Ga naar de witte tenten, waar u het online reservering bord vindt. Dit is ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van het schip. Als u aangemeerd bent bij Mathey Wharf : Bij het ontschepen gaat u richting de informatiestand in de haven. Vlakbij de informatiestand ziet u het online reservering bord. Dit is ongeveer 2 minuten lopen van het schip. De lokale vertegenwoordiger zal op u wachten met een bord met "Aida Travel Services." Ze zullen een hoed dragen met daarop "Aida Travel Services" en een bruin of wit poloshirt met het Aida Travel Services logo erop. Zorg ervoor dat u uiterlijk 15 minuten voor vertrek op de aangewezen vertreklocatie bent. Glenn was very knowledgeable and kind., spoke about history of the island and neighboring islands lots of fun.
The beaches were absolutely beautiful! Definitely bring water shoes though because it’s rocky! The turtles were so cool, but we only were able to spend 30min there when we were under the impression it would be an hour based on the description of the tour. We were provided snorkel gear but one of the mouth pieces had dried blood on it and we were told to just take a different one and put it back in the bag so that kind of grossed out most of our group from using the equipment.
Excellent tour with Aida and her daughter
So, I put that we were coming in on a cruise, and sadly, I put the day before we actually arrived a day late. Granted, this is my fault, however, those in the business know exactly when each ship arrives, the times, ports, etc....So they are prepared for mistakes. Anyhow, I talked to Viator/or the company and they did get someone there to take us for an additional $75, like I said, I know this was my fault Once we began the tour, the translator began telling us about the history of the island, et cetera. He was good at this. Once we arrived to "swim with the sea turtles" we were at a beach that was a bit mucky, nothing like the pictures I had seen. He told us that it was a public beach and on the side of the beach, men are cleaning fish and throwing everything in where you are supposed to swim at. (This is how they attract the sea turtles.) Also, remember to bring your own snorkel gear or rent some from the area. Our guide told us that we had an hour or so swim and see the turtles. There were several people there and in the ocean, however, there was no sea turtles. Had there been, I am unsure if you could have seen them, like it shows in the photos. (It could have been the day or the weather, or the time of day.) After a few minutes, we asked if they could just take us to a beach that "swimming with the sea turtles" was just not what we had done in the past. He told us he would take us to the best beach on the island. Once we arrived, it was pretty but take cash so you can rent chairs and take good shoes. It hurt to walk because of the coral in and on the beach. It cuts your feet. After a few minutes, my group decided that we would rather just shop and look around town. We had about three hours, so the tour guide took us into town. Some of the group asked if they could take us by the rum factory and he told us "NO". We asked him to take us into town (across from the port) and they would not. They did drop us off back at the port and we had an hour and half to walk through the shopping district. Overall, the island was beautiful, and the shopping district across from the port was nice. However, I would not recommend the sea turtles and beach. This was the sentiment of my whole group. I do appreciate that the tour operator was able to correct my mistake of the wrong day for an additional $75 and the gentleman (owners former mother in law) was friendly and knew the island.

Unfortunately, on the day of your tour, visibility was lower than usual, which limited the experience. Nonetheless, our team went beyond the planned itinerary, taking you to a second beach to make the experience more enjoyable—a gesture we hope demonstrated our commitment to guest satisfaction. As for the request to visit the rum factory or a stop across from the port, we do our best to accommodate reasonable changes when time and logistics allow. However, certain locations fall outside the authorized or feasible routing for the day, particularly when operating under adjusted schedules or reduced daylight hours. Guides informative and kind! Lots of information on history and life in Curacao. You feel like you are out with friends! Turtles for sure, and pelicans and beautiful aqua beach with calm water. Snorkeling in deep water. Beach has shallow areas too. Guides are helpful.
A 5/6 hour tour of the west of the island. 4 stops, caves, turtles, flamingos, great beach. Great value.
The caves were very interesting . The cliff jump was so much fun and the beach pristine. But the Turtles were amazing ! Great value and our guide Leo was wonderful
