Deze indrukwekkende lagune werd gevormd in de krater van een inactieve vulkaan en is een van de mooiste en meest bezochte plekken van het land.Tijdens de tour kun je vanuit het uitkijkpunt de bodem van de lagune observeren. We dalen af naar de lagune, waar je een kajak kunt huren voor een tocht rond de lagune (niet inbegrepen in de tour). Na de beklimming lunchen we en keren terug naar Quito
Deze prachtige kloof is een populaire toeristische bestemming vanwege de landschappelijke schoonheid, unieke geologische formaties en de mogelijkheid voor verschillende buitenactiviteiten.
Een van de meest populaire activiteiten in Quilotoa is rondlopen in de krater. Er is een ongeveer 9 kilometer lang pad dat je naar de rand van de krater brengt en waar je kunt genieten van indrukwekkende panoramische uitzichten. De wandeling kan vanwege de hoogte een uitdaging zijn, maar het is een lonende ervaring. Als u de lagune op een unieke manier wilt ervaren, kunt u kajaks huren of boottochten maken om de wateren vanuit een ander perspectief te verkennen.

The guide is very friendly and experienced, providing clear and precise directions, along with a good explanation to remember the route. It is definitely a very pleasant experience, but it should be noted that the route is complex, so precautions regarding physical condition should be taken when going down and up.

Visiting Quilotoa was a unique and beautiful experience... I thank the agency ECOSPORTOUR and the driver Ramiro and the guide David for their support throughout the tour; it was a beautiful experience, and I will definitely return... During the tour, we visited some stops where we learned about different cultures and traditions ... The food was excellent....
Perfect experience. Everything was very well organized during the d’au. It was a wonderful trip to Quilotoa with Anthony and Alex. This place is amazing. We also had the chance to visit a local market and an indigenous house. That was very interesting and very well explained by Anthony.
I had a really great experience on the Quilotoa Lagoon trip. The views were absolutely beautiful, the food was very good, and the whole day was very well organized. Our guide, Antony, explained everything clearly and made the experience really enjoyable and easy to follow. The admission fee was fine and it wasn’t crowded much. On the way back there was unfortunately a reroute, so the drive took much longer than expected, but Antony and our driver Alex handled the situation very professionally. They kept everyone informed, stayed calm, and made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time despite the delay. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ecuador!

The guide Joel was very attentive throughout the tour, the tour really surprised me, the landscape is amazing, I highly recommend kayak riding in the lagoon, it is an unbeatable experience!!
Everything was on time. Joel, our guide, and Alex, our driver, were incredibly professional. Joel gave us insightful information of Quito and its surrounding area. The hike was incredible. The admission fee was incredibly cheap. The tour crowd size was small so it was easy for us to get to know each other, making the whole trip very enjoyable. Joel was a real pro.
Quilotoa Loop is beautiful! It is steep and sandy, physically challenge. The cultural stops are interesting, leaning about aboriginal people’s daily living.
