Terwijl we door de pittoreske straten en groene gebieden van Buenos Aires fietsen, drinkt u mate, de geliefde infusie van Argentinië, en krijgt u insiderkennis over de rijke geschiedenis en levendige levensstijl van de stad. We ontmoeten elkaar op Armenia 2269 in het hart van Palermo Soho. Nadat we een comfortabele fiets en helm voor je hebben klaargezet, nemen we het plan voor de rit en een paar basisveiligheidstips door voordat we samen de weg op gaan.
We rijden langs een van de mooiste en elegantste lanen van de stad. Je ziet grote gebouwen en musea die het rijke verleden van Buenos Aires weerspiegelen, en geniet van het rustige groen dat de hele boulevard omlijst.
Terwijl we door deze luxe wijk rollen, zie je enkele van de meest indrukwekkende herenhuizen in de stad. Het is een rustige en verfijnde omgeving, met veel verhalen verborgen achter de elegante gevels.
Hier stoppen we om deze gigantische metalen bloem te bewonderen die opent en sluit met de zon. Het is een van de meest iconische sculpturen van de stad. We nemen een paar minuten de tijd om te praten over de symboliek en het gebied eromheen.
Direct naast de bloem is dit imposante neoklassieke gebouw de thuisbasis van de Law School van de universiteit. We stoppen even om de architectuur in ons op te nemen en te horen hoe belangrijk deze plek is voor lokale studenten.
We geven je wat vrije tijd om binnen te voet te verkennen, terwijl we buiten wachten met de fietsen. De begraafplaats is als een museum in de open lucht, met indrukwekkende graven en sculpturen. We geven je tips over waar je op moet letten, waaronder de beroemde rustplaats Evita. Een bezoek aan de begraafplaats is niet verplicht, je kunt ook wat tijd doorbrengen in de omgeving, op het park, een kopje koffie drinken of de weekendmarkt verkennen.
Dit is een van de favoriete groene plekken van de stad. We fietsen door de meren en schaduwrijke met bomen omzoomde paden, en je krijgt te zien hoe porteños genieten van hun weekenden - joggen, ontspannen of partners delen op het gras.
We stoppen bij deze rozentuin in het park en geven je een korte pauze om rond te lopen en foto’s te maken. Met zijn kleurrijke bloemen, kleine bruggetjes en charmante uitzichten is het een prachtige plek om te genieten van de rustige kant van BA.
Palermo Soho is een trendy wijk vol kleur en creativiteit. Terwijl we door de levendige straten rijden, spot je street art, boetiekjes en stijlvolle cafés. Dit deel van de stad combineert oude charme met een jonge, artistieke vibe. Het is waar de creatieve geest van BA naar voren komt.

Love it. Must do experience in BA. Our instructor was so nice. The city is so big and biking helps you explore so much more. We loved it.
This was such a good way to see some parts of the city. The pace of a bike tour is nice because you cover a lot of area but still take in so much more than a car. Our guide Gilda was really nice and informative. Loved this bike tour.

Carlos took me on an amazing tour of so many wonderful neighborhoods in BA. My wife and I opted for this bike tour as we had a late-night flight out of Buenos Aires. It was a perfect way to enjoy the Palermo neighborhood and its beautiful green areas for four hours. Our tour guide, Julian, did a great job leading our ride. He is personable and made sure we were safe all along. For all but a few blocks, we rode the city's expansive "ciclovias" (dedicated bike lanes). Julian knowledge of Argentina/Buenos Aires history, culture and daily life make for a rewarding cultural experience. Finishing our ride at the iconic Floralis Generica drinking "mate" was a special treat. Highly recommended.
