In de schaduw van de Akropolis is dit de plek waar de klassieke Griekse en westerse beschaving is ontstaan en ook het christendom. Er zijn hier sporen van de oude Grieken, Romeinen, Byzantijnen en Ottomanen, te vinden in de ruïnes, kerken, lokale huizen en - belangrijker nog - in het eten.

We had a wonderful day with Katia.She was very knowledgeable both about culinary issues and was able to often put the experience in a cultural and historical context. We would have no hesitation in recommending the tour (and Katia) to anyone considering it.
Katia was an informative, knowledgeable and generous host. We experienced some beautiful food in authentic settings, much of which we would not have experienced without her expertise and guidance.
Constantine was very friendly, informative and patient. He had lots of energy. The food and wine was of course great. He introduced to several of the people at the restaurants which made it even more special.

Natalie, our Guide, was nothing.less than brilliant! She talked with and engaged each of the six adults and teens in our group. She picked interesting places we would not likely have found on our own and we ate a lit of wonderful food. One stop, a specialty shop where the owner was an olive oil sommelier. That was a delightful stop. Natalie was such a brilliant personality and made the entire evening tour delightful. I would book another tour anytime.

We had a great time on our food tour. Our guide was very welcoming and taught us a lot about the food and culture of Greece (centered around mealtime). We tried many different places and she did a great job accommodating the various allergies of our group of 7 people. The food was wonderful and we got to try a big variety.
