Het Cu Chi Tunnels-netwerk werd gebouwd binnen 25 jaar vanaf 1948 tijdens de oorlog tegen de Fransen. Het diende als communicatiemiddel tussen dorpen en hielp de Vietnamezen om verkenningssoldaten van de Fransen te ontwijken. Het tunnelnetwerk werd uitgebreid over een gebied van 250 kilometer tijdens de Vietnamoorlog. Daarom werd het een van de belangrijke onderdelen van de strategie van de Vietcong-strijdkrachten en ook de thuisbasis van duizenden soldaten. Reis per bus, boot en fiets om het dorp te ontdekken. Krijg de mogelijkheid om veel exotische tropische vruchten te proeven, erken de kokosnootverwerkingswerkplaats (elk deel van de kokosnoot wordt gebruikt om veel producten te produceren, zoals olie, snoep, zeep, drank en zelfs huizen), en bezoek een honingboerderij.

07:00–07:30 uur: Uw gids haalt u op bij uw hotel en vertrekt naar de Cu Chi-tunnels Tijdens de rit naar het dorp Cu Chi weet u meer over hoe de Vietcong het heeft gebouwd, hoe we de oorlog konden winnen toen we alles misten, zelfs voedsel en medicijnen, en wat er precies in dat gebied gebeurde tijdens de oorlog. De Cu Chi-tunnels boden een veilige haven voor soldaten en duizenden Vietnamezen tijdens de Vietnamoorlog. 11:30 uur: De CuChi-tunneltour is afgelopen en we gaan verder naar de Mekongdelta.
12:30 uur: Geniet van een barbecue en leer koken van een lokale chef-kok 14:30 uur: Stap in een boot en vaar over de Mekong rivier om naar de bijenboerderij te gaan. Je krijgt de kans om te genieten van de honingthee en foto's te maken met de python en de vingerbanaan - de typische dingen in de Mekong Delta. Ontspan je geest door in een roeibootje over een klein, vredig kanaal te roeien om het lokale cultuurhuis binnen te gaan om te genieten van "Đờn Ca Tài Tử" - een specifiek kenmerk van de zuidelijke cultuur en bezoek vervolgens de kokosnoot snoepfabriek om te zien hoe de boer kokosnoot snoepjes maakt 14:00 uur: Op de terugweg van je bus passeer je het vissersdorp met veel drijvende huizen om een kijkje te nemen in het leven van de vissers. 16:30 uur: Terugkeer naar Ho Chi Minhstad. Great experience and Great Tour! Everything was good and the Best one was our Guide HIEU was full of energy throughout, shedding fascinating light on the history of Ho Chi Minh City with great enthusiasm. The itinerary was impressive as well—effectively squeezing a holiday-long list of activities into the span of just a day. The only drawback was that they were unable to pick us up from—nor send us back to—our hotel,Liberty Central Saigon Riverside Hotel. I loved all the places we went to and would do it again next time

We wish we could even live here! One of our most interesting thing we’ve done in Vietnam trip was Mekong delta day tour after Cu Chi tunnel. We did Cu Chi underground tour in the morning, listened to tour guide told us a lot about Vietnam and war period, got plenty of understanding about how tough but glorious history this country has been through. And immediately right then, a fun driving alongside beautiful Saigon suburbs led us to Mekong river. Got into the small boat, see thousands of things for selling and buying, colourful “floating life” of those kind people, tranquil flow brought us from this to that different surprises! We liked the best the way people live there and we wish we could stay here on those boats for 1 more years to peace our mind out of hustle Chicago. There we go! And we definitely come back to that lovely place, for sure!
