- Verken het uitgebreide ondergrondse netwerk van de Cu Chi-tunnels. - Weet hoe je moet bouwen en overleven op een diepte van 3-10 meter vanaf de grond. - Kleine groep of privégroep helpt je de menigte van de beroemde tunnel te vermijden - Van plaats naar plaats reizen met een modern busje door het weidse uitzicht op het Zuid-Vietnamese platteland met groen rijstveld, boomgaardtuin, visbond en bruggetje. - Traditionele lunch met vast menu in de Tiny Garden Family-boerderij met een deel van de BBQ-garnalen of kip, pannenkoek en knapperige gefrituurde olifantenoorvis. - Leer lokale gebruiken en cultuur in de Mekong Delta, een van de 4 gigantische delta's over de hele wereld. - Bezoek lokale werkplaatsen om een verscheidenheid aan traditionele ambachten te bekijken. - Fris uw geest op met een motortocht langs de oever van de rivier en met de hand peddelende sampan in een groen, schaduwrijk kanaal. - Vers fruit proeven, honingthee terwijl u geniet van Zuid-Vietnamese volksmuziek. - Bezoek de kokossnoepjesworkshop en proef de zoete snoepjes die je niet mag missen.

Cu Chi-tunnel is een ondergrondse stad met woonruimtes, keukens, opslag, wapenfabrieken, veldziekenhuizen, commandocentra. Op sommige plaatsen waren er tot 10.000 mensen ondergebracht die jarenlang vrijwel onder de grond leefden ... trouwen, bevallen.
Aan boord van een privéboot om het plattelandsleven in Mekong te zien. Vaar vervolgens verder langs een kleine kreek naar de monding van de Mekong-rivier, naar Con Phung (Phoenix Island (langs natuurlijke kreken en rustig dorp, bezoek boomgaarden, bijenteelt boerderij, proef narural honing, geniet van tropisch fruit, traditionele muziek, kijk rond een distilleerderij, verken het lokale productieproces van kokosnotensuikergoed, snoep en kokosnotenpulp.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and ideal for couples and families. It struck a great balance between sightseeing and relaxation, so we never felt rushed or exhausted. Our guide, Bao, was energetic, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable about the area’s history. Me and the family really had a great time with Ata! We also gained new insights about the Vietnamese culture because each time we ask Ata questions, he would explain it to us right away. Ata is very fun to be with during the trip because he takes good picture of us especially at the tunnel hahahaha. Overall, it was a fun and great experience at the Cu Chi tunnel and Mekong.

We joined the Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta day tour as a family of four, and it turned out to be much better than we expected. Pickup from our apartment was on time, and the whole day felt well paced — busy but not rushed. Our guide explained Vietnam’s history clearly and in a balanced way, which helped our kids understand what daily life was like during the war years, not just the military side. The Cu Chi Tunnels were definitely the highlight. It wasn’t only about seeing the tunnels, but learning how people actually lived and survived. The Mekong Delta part was a nice contrast — peaceful boat rides through small canals, beautiful scenery, and a simple local lunch that everyone enjoyed. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and the driver was careful and smooth. Overall, the tour felt professionally organized, not like a rushed “checklist” tour. For families visiting Ho Chi Minh City for the first time with limited time, this combination is a great way to experience both history and nature in one day. We’re glad we chose this tour.
