Cricova Winery met proeverij

The guide did not show up. I called to the tour company's phone number written in my tour boucher, but automatic message said this number is not existing. It was terrible and I requested full refund.

It is worth visiting an underground cellar. A place different from the usual cellars. Congratulations to the guide Juliana... she does it with real passion and involves you 100%

We went to see the Cricova Winery on the BESTMoldova tour. It was a very interesting tour and a good wine tasting. Our driver Cornelius from BEST travel gave us a good intro to Moldova and was good at pointing out interesting things both on the way to the Winery and on the tour to the airport.We can recommend both BESTMoldova, the winery tour and Cornelius as your driver.

Very good tour through the caves where the storage takes place, a story that you did not exist. Good wines are produced and you had to try 3 different wines if you added it to the tour. A hearty plate with snacks is also included. Very good half day tour!

Booked this tour with Viator. They pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the winery. Driver was friendly and chatted to us about the local history and gave us tips about restaurants and wines in Moldova. When arriving at Cricova we had to wait forty minutes for the rest of the tour group to arrive. Then we took a cart into the caves, be prepared for the cold. Bring a jacket and a scarf. Drinking through a labyrinth before stopping at our first destination to try a sample of wine and watch a video explaining the history of Cricova. If you paid for the ‘premium’ package you then get taken to a banquet hall where you are servers 4 more wines to taste with snacks as well. My only complaint the tour group is too big and it was often difficult to hear what the guide was saying. Definitely worth going and was a good experience.

A VIP visit to Crikova is one of the best trips around Chisinau 918km from it). They will take thru the fabulous tunnel network of 120km and at the end they offer a perfect wine testing and dinner.

I liked every minute of this underground winery tour. It is not annoying at all and very mobile. The guide can speak English. Some stories are funny, some are surprising. You will not waste your time here - come and enjoy it!

<p>I booked the business excursion. After booking I received confirmation including my pick up time from my hotel. Anna was my guide. She was very nice and knowledgeable. After a 20 minute drive to Cricova winery, I joined the tour which the winery does. This included visits to the underground labyrinth, collection room, wine making operation, and concluded with a sit down wine tasting. The tasting included three wines with enough additional pours that I had a buzz leaving. Anna drove me back to my hotel. The entire tour took 3-4 hours total. I would recommend this tour to those who want a taste of Moldovan wine.</p>
